#2218You should take Nadal to win Wimbledon at +130 and try and cancel that play. The winner of this match is gonna win wimbledon if Berdych or Djoker get there they will be thrilled just to be in that spotlight. Murray is playing great tennis right now Nadal at -170 is pushing it.
For the scoring its like then and that, then you can tie it up at deuce (40-40) then you need to win by 2 points after that. So when they say "advantage Nadal" Nadal needs 1 more point to win that game. Each set is up to 6 games but you need to win by two, if its 6-6 you go to a 7 point tiebreaker (also need to win by two) unless its the 5th set of the match where you gotta win the last set by two games (no tiebreak included).Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#2222Hey guys -
My plays for today will be Djokovic and Nadal. I've been looking at these match-ups since yesterday afternoon and I can't comfortably bet anything else. I'm just pulling stats again to see how I want to approach the actual betting part of it.Comment -

#2223Shari like I told Paco just take Nadal to win Wimby at the + odds instead of laying that juice if you like him to beat Murray. I really can't touch anything tomorrow except for maybe a prop. I want to save my money for the finalCause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#2224I'm definitely not laying the juice either. That's not really my thing normally as it is but in this one I just think there's more value elsewhere. If anything I'll take him 3-1 @ +300, 3-2 @ +475 and hopefully walk away with profit for a smaller outlay. Even the 3-0 is +295 although I don't realistically see that happening.Comment -

#2225Friggin edit is still missing.
I am now undecided about Choko/Berdie and may pass on picking a winner. Too many stats are pointing to this one as pretty much a 50/50.Comment -

#2227I've been contemplating it but one 6-3 in a 4 setter and I could be screwed. With that being said, both of them are really serving well - even Choko's serve has come back to him now after disappearing for quite awhile - and the possibility of at least one if not 2 TBs is high in my opinion.
The more I look at this match, the more the odds seem spot on. Some are assuming that people are jumping on the Berdie bandwagon because of his win over Federer, but even if they are his stats in the tournament so far are great so it's not a bad play. And he's worked his arse off to get his confidence issues sorted. As for Choko, well he's never going to be 100% all there mentally but he finds a way to get around it for the most part and he's one of the most brilliant returners on the Tour which will go a long way in negating Berdie's serve.
The more I look at it, the more my head spins.Comment -

#2228Paco, this is for you:
Typically for both men's and women's matches, the first player to win two sets wins the match. At certain important tennis tournaments for men, including all four Grand Slams tournaments, the first player to win three sets wins the match.A set consists of games, and games, in turn, consist of points.
A game is won by the first player to have won at least four points in total and at least two points more than the opponent. The running score of each game is described in a manner peculiar to tennis: scores from zero to three points are described as "love", "fifteen", "thirty", and "forty" respectively. If at least three points have been scored by each player, and the scores are equal, the score is "deuce". If at least three points have been scored by each side and a player has one more point than his opponent, the score of the game is "advantage" for the player in the lead. During informal games, "advantage" can also be called "ad in" or "ad out", depending on whether the serving player or receiving player is ahead, respectively.
A set consists of a sequence of games played with service alternating between games, ending when the count of games won meets certain criteria. Typically, a player wins a set by winning at least six games and at least two games more than the opponent. If one player has won six games and the opponent five, an additional game is played. If the leading player wins that game, the player wins the set 7–5. If the trailing player wins the game, a tie-break is played. A tie-break, played under a separate set of rules, allows one player to win one more game and thus the set, to give a final set score of 7–6.

I've taken Nadal to win 3-1, 3-2 in this one for equal amounts and hope to squeeze out a profit. I'm not willing to lay that much chalk so I'd rather play it safe. Best of luck everyone and great job with Berdie LB!!!Comment -

#2239I'm not touching a handicap in this one dan. Nadal can come out and smoke him easily but he can also drop a set or have a tiebreak or two which would screw the handicap up.
Not sure if everyone is going to be on Nadal but I think anyone who takes Berdych is merely hoping for a + bet to hit for the most part. I can see no argument for taking him in this one and I've been looking at it all day.Comment -
