Im not longer with Betfair so perhaps things have changed. Only suggestion i can give is to try and login using your phone providers internet rather than wireless home or work internet.
Also i was using a windows phone not iphone at the time and this was six months ago. Perhaps they have changed how opera works on the iphone as i just tried opera on my iphone with sportsbet and live betting did not work
Sorry
All good mate. I remember looking at this whole issue a while back (and failing) and you got my hopes up! I tried going through my phone provider - it said I was in Sydney instead of Perth - still not very helpful!
Betfair are known for being very strict on this kind of thing. I've read about people who have played in-play bets through VPNs and proxy's, then betfair has asked for proof of travel and banned them from in-play betting... - That is the only feasible work around i have found and it is not ideal.
I think, for now, us Aussies are stuck sucking up the bet365 (or even worse - bwin) juice for most sports.
I am told that there is a reasonably strong push for in-play betting to be available soon in Aus. I hope it comes in sooner rather than later!

Verdasco turns it around! He went from stroppy to playing unbelievable as soon as stared some match points in his big face. It´s been a rollercoaster and one which i´m not particularly keen to jump on again - might fade him against Nishikori, he´ll be tired after that and seemed to have a ankle/foot problem towards the end of the match.

Goerges wins, Niculescu up 2 breaks 3-0 in the 2nd set. Thank god for that after a rather slow start to the day.
Shari: nice calls on Razzano and Marino - both guaranteed cash atm (Razzano: the over and the handicap (unless she wins this set and gets smoked 6-1 in the last and Marino: Handicap).
As i type this, pironkova just got one of the breaks back...

She's all over the place as usual. Sacked her coach. Lotsa media pressure. :\

Sorry- i just got home but I jumped on for half a unit on Strycova soon as I could. As much as I'd love to see Dokic win, I just can't trust her with my money.
Edited- to add Strycova

Think Bagdatis can beat Del Potro. Isner over Stepanek looks decent too.

I wish there were 2.5 game teaser bets in tennis.
I'd like to tease Gil from +8 to +10.5 and Federer from -7.5 to -5. Probably just play them both straight.

Dokic is a shocker. I'm glad i stuck to my guns and didn't fall for the hype. She can't be trusted with money and even though Strycova is a headcase too, she's the better. I'd love to see her come back in this one somehow but I highly doubt it.

Would have been a perfect day for me (currently 5/6 playing nothing worse than -115 (Federer -7.5 is still pending and prob a slight dog to cover here - he needs to win this last set 6-3, but he is serving first, so its only one break) if bloody wickmayer hadn't screwed me.
what gives me the shits even worse is that shari posted about her illness and I only skimmed the post. if i'd known, i would have put someone else in and had a ridiculous day. i said last night that today was going to be good!

It's her father's genes, rather than him, that are the issue now I think.
She ends up bitter enemies with everyone that works with her it seems. She has sacked at least one other coach on the eve of a slam too from memory.

i blame you for not starting a thread "DO NOT TAKE WICKY TODAY" and put it all in capitals just like that.
nah, i usually read most of your info, but somehow missed this. kicking myself hard.
federer is gone (for the cover) and simon is a real chance here too. you watching this? wow. i got home from work after the first 2 sets and thought it was pretty easy money. part of the bitter gambler in me is now cheering for simon, despite my general fed love. go simon!

Yeah I'm watching. I'm desperately willing myself to stay off the phone and not live bet this one.
As much as I love Fed, I'm cheering for Simon now too although with this break I think he's in a world of hurt. I like Simon though - has always seemed like a cool guy and I'm happy results are starting to come for him.

yeah, maybe time to start backing simon again. finally getting back to his glory days after the knee injury.
can't believe fed didnt take 1 of those 3 match points. he'll serve it out though...
edit: lol the commentator just said fed isnt odds on to hold and win. i wish he was my bookie.
