Great job Gee!! I let someone talk me out of Kerber and I obviously shouldn't have. I watched Hantu's match the day before against Craybas and she was playing like ass and Craybas managed to take the first set to 7-5 before getting smoked in the 2nd. Pretty impressive considering she had played over 2 1/2 hrs the day before. Or I guess not so impressive for Hantu.

Happy to see one of us made money on Kerb!!

I've also played Troicki, Federer and Kirilenko in a chalk parlay. Was thinking about adding Kerber to it, but left it out.

Best of luck to you too! I think your parlay is pretty strong. Don't really like Goerges solely because Ana's been playing out of her mind and when I fade her she's been screwing me over lately. I do think Kerber gets it done though. I really can't see her losing this match unless there's something fishy going on.

yup great, day apart from kleyb. i had a 7 legger that she stuffed up at $80. woulda been nice. only had $10 on it for shits and at least her loss was early.

kirilenko should roll today, but don't really like much. might take it easy.

I've been waiting for a decent time to fade Federer this week for a great price and I've also been waiting for the time that Ljubicic has started to show the form he had back in March when he beat Roddick, Nadal and Djokovic at Indian Wells before he injured his back. And Indian Wells is obviously much more important than this rinky dink tournament so we can be sure the motivation of those players was definitely there and tanking wasn't an issue.

I just think this is now the time when things finally line up nicely for Ljubi although I definitely didn't put a lot of money on him - this is just a small play for me. I really think Roger's greatest asset is his ability to just stay cool in matches when his opponents seem to fall apart and he has been getting away with some wins because his opponent lets the fact that he is playing Federer mess with his head and Federer just has to play out matches while a few of his opponents just defeat themselves. But look at how he played against Murray last week - in a tournament much more important than this one. He was getting flustered and Murray didn't give a damn that it was Federer out there - he just blew him off the court when it mattered. I'm not saying Ljubi is currently in Murray's class but I believe if he stays mentally calm and fights for each point - which we know is never usually a problem with him - then he is definitely worth the price we are getting on him here.

Of course, he may get smoked out there - but +500 for me under these circumstances for a player I wanted to back anyway against a player I wanted to fade anyway makes it a definite play.

Sanchez went down for the count so I'm now staying away from Azarenka's matches. Gave her two chances to bail out of this tournament and she's cost me money both times. Seems she actually wants to win this one so no more of her for me this week.

I was surprised too. Her serving has been rock solid this week but in this match she was having trouble getting her 1st serve in and her 2nd serve win % was horrendous. I almost made a live bet on under 9.5 games in the 2nd set when she was down a break to recoup my cash but was worried Sanchez would find her rhythm again and hold serve for the rest of the set. Frustrating when a player seems to lose form right in front of your eyes.

Mayer looked a bit shaky there in the first set but I'm happy to see he could fight past the severe lack of crowd support and managed to pull off the win.
