Ito didn't have it today. There was some good crowd support too, but I guess it's all too much for the Japanese. I thought ito had more bite to his shots, but it was basically a neutral rally on every game it seemed and Ito isn't winning that type of match against Millman.

Ito was playing well, got himself back into the top 100 and then tonight happened. These guys are career challenger losers for a reason.

Home court used to be an advantage, now it all seems too much to handle anymore.

I know this is after the fact, but Duckworth's 1st serve % got progressively worse during the week while Albot's got better. Duckworth served 45% 1st serve and got away with it against the bitchmade Bemelmans. He served even worse tonight at 40% and he didn't get away with it, obviously.

Add to that is Duckworth's spotty finals record. Duckworth was 8-5 in finals, while Albot was 15-7. Most were obviously future events, but still finals.

I was looking this one over as well. I like it. She's playing a much older version of the player she played last night. They both have double fault problems, so this match could get ugly.
