Didnt think it was a good bet before the tourney, but it turned out to be one, winning two tourneys in a row is very rare, when Foggy did it last year it seemed amazing, just a rare thing for an outsider to pull off such a thing, odds should have been higher actually.

Because the total didn't change " while it was already in the 3rd set"

maybe the books were going off Nishikori's tendancy to completely collapse when given a match point or 2 in the previous set.
