2.5* Berdych vs Gulbis OVER 23.5

Berdych leads the h2h 3-2 but one interesting trend: 2 of the h2h matches were indoor hard courts which is where these two are playing tonight. Both were three setters totalling 33 and 31 games. Both players have been on fire and we all know how mentally unstable Gulbis can be. But this season he is starting to look like he is finally converting potential and talent into consistent results. That straight sets win over Dimitrov and Del Potro in particular was quite impressive. Berdych hasn't been all that special but has been playing with enough intent to get to the semis, and fought back well especially against Janowicz. I know 23.5 looks like a really high number but I believe we see three sets and at worse two tight sets (i.e. 7-5 7-6). Any other surface, I would not be taking the over but I think Gulbis the indoor hardcourt specialist puts on a show tonight.
