Yes Kerber should take her very easily - he's just choosing this prop to avoid paying the ridiculous juice on the ML. Although ML is the safest bet, you can wager on the spread at a much lower juiced line. Matt probably feels this is safer because this would protect against a very close 7-6 or 7-5 set which would kill the spread. But if all you are offered is the ML then that would be your only option, though I'd certainly use it in a parlay or something in case she happens to lose - it would suck losing so much if the unexpected happened. Hey man just wanted to take a second to apologize - I reread that post and realized it that it could've been taken the wrong way! By no means was I complaining or bashing or anything, sorry if it appeared that way! lol I just thought it was funny how I pondered on that match and went back and forth for a while, started to wager on Jovanovski, then stopped, then looked at it again. Then when I finally decided to pull the trigger I refreshed the tennis forum and see that post! lol It's no big deal man, we all understand you have a life, just like the rest of us. Trust me, I'd be the last person to say anything about not posting plays earlier - my own personal life is about to get much crazier as my wife and I are expecting our first baby in March. I applaud you for taking the time and effort to create and maintain a thread; it's easy for others (especially the ones who have never made their own) to forget just how much time it takes to maintain the upkeep of something like this. We all appreciate everything you bring to the forum, and look forward to your posts. Tennis is certainly not my best sport, and I always make sure to check your thread before I place a wager! Anyway sorry for the rant, just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work!

Well she isn't at her best indoors, and Kekeke made the semis here last year. The Frenchwoman played well today, and Halep wasn't too bad at all in my opinion. She wasn't flawless, but you can hardly expect perfection every match. It's often difficult to tell motivation and mental condition in early rounds as well.
You should only ever back her as a favorite if you think she has a better chance of winning than the odds would tell you she has.

* I like Reid here. Both guys have been underachieving for awhile. I've noticed my book seems to have taken the odds down a bit on Reid but not Mitchell. I've also noticed a bit of a trend with this. It isn't perfect but I think its worth a big shot in this situation.
