HA. That was one crazy match to watch. So frustrating and every time you thought Duckworth was done, he came right back.

    Zheng +140 1u
    Wawrinka -135 2u

Dont have much time for a longer write-up right now but I do not like Querrey's form at all right now. Wawrinka handled Kamke easily than I thought he would. I feel good about this pick. I'm going to throw 2 units on this one.

I don't follow WTA as closely but I have noticed Georges game being very fluky and I watched Zheng beat Stosur the other day and liked her fight. Worth a play.

      Adding

      Anderson -140 1u

Just can't trust Verdasco. I'd like to get a better line here but I think Anderson's serve should keep him in the match at worst.

I've been fading Verdasco so far, but switched onto him today. I still don't trust Anderson to beat anyone in the top 20 consistently.

Although, when these 2 guys played in Perth Verdasco was lackadaisical and there was still 23 games in 2 sets. So have had some buyers remorse on not taking the over instead of Verdasco since putting the money down.

UGH. Serving for match and Zheng completely flushes it.

Only had points on Zheng but that was a huge part of the reason I avoid WTA most of the time.

Verdasco just gifted Anderson a break back to help make up for it.

oops. Spoke too soon. Verdasco comes back with a break next game to set up his serve for the set.

              * and your turn to draft.

Zheng was maddening. She completely dominated the 2nd set and nine games of the 3rd set and then she choked. Made errors and Goerges finally started hitting big winners and serving well consistently to close.

It's a good reason to take dogs though. Those will cash more than they miss. I'm just miffed because I had that and Makarova marked for dogs and decided to only try the one.

Well, take some solace in the fact that you came awfully close and "should have" won. Although you know the saying "Money talks, bullshit walks"

Yep. I feel good in general though. Good money managing this week. Futures are all still kicking and the open parlays look decent again.

I agree with you. Have been keeping an eye on everything you do and you've done well. The tricky part is the hedge but I'll sure you'll manage it well.

Anderson with a big Tie Break to take the 4th set. You'll probably have to give Verdasco the fitness advantage for a 5 setter but Anderson's serve should give him some easy points down the stretch here.

I've got Verdasco as last leg of two parlays plus a straight bet. I don't usually sweat individual bets but this one would wipe out losses from last few days and put me nicely ahead. So hope you don;t mind me rooting hard against you

I can see why you went that way. I took both, but honestly only ended up with Makarova due to my habit of almost always backing her as a dog. It didn't look like she was going to match up with Bartoli on the numbers.

BIG BIG break for Anderson! OH YEA!

such a risky pick to close out a parlay with Verdasco. Not for the simple fact they were a dog this match, albeit a small one, but I'd avoid any close match with a big server in it for a big parlay. You just never know when the racquet will be taken out of your hand.

Anderson was just on another level in that 5th set. He just KILLED a few winners there. Just waiting on this on Querrey/Wawrinka match to decide another winning or losing day.

One of them was for a betfair promo that required minimum odds of +500. The other was just a 2 leg dog play with Makarova. Planning the order wasn't in consideration.

ahh... I assumed big meaning 4 or 5+ type of open parlay.

Tough one, could have gone either way until that 5th set.

I'm not really very far behind considering the run of red this week. Would have been enough to put me nicely in the green again. Oh well, the worm will turn.

Huge first set win in the Tie Break by Wawrinka. Any rally that is going over 3 or 4 strokes, Wawrinka has been winning it seems but man, this is the first time this tournament that Querrey's serve has had that extra pop and accuracy.

Stan is hardly hitting 50% of first serves in so far. If he picks up his game a few percent and Querrey drops of at all this should go fine.

Doesnt help break his serve though. I'm expecting there to be at least 2 more Tie Breaks so it could be a long night. I'm ready though.

BOOM! 2nd set goes to Wawrinka! WITHOUT a TB nonetheless.

Nothing like a straight set non-sweat multi-unit win. Wawrinka played really well and returned most of what came at him.

                                                      Wawrinka -135 2u W

Pretty good start to the tournament being up nearly 9 units in only a few days, but it doesnt stop here. Have a couple plays lined up for tomorrow already that I'll post tomorrow and have the Gasquet and Simon hedge that could both cash tomorrow as well. Big day coming.

Gasquet was never really threatened so that was easy cash. All of my futures are cleared now so we'll focus on the rest of the tournament here. Side note, also loved seeing Federer beat up on Tomic. Too much confidence just comes across as cocky and arrogant, something Tomic hasnt earned in the least yet.
