Well I'm not sure it was public, but I sure got buried. Fukking Stosur couldn't win 2 more games after breaking to start the 2nd. Sickening. Must say Halep played well but still..

It was a coin-flip to the best of my ability (of telling), but Bird really should have taken some of his early-christmas-present chances in 1:st and 2:nd. The way the match was playing out the 2:nd tiebreak going 7-0 was amazing.

It was a garbage match I thought.

I really need to stick to slams and occasional big spot plays like Nole against Nadal a few weeks ago. Getting killed betting these random shitshows in other tournaments. Or at least reduce my unit size until I figure out how to win in those.

Purely a last-ditch effort to end the season in the black.. Still think this is a good play though, Djoker lost to Tsonga in a similar meaningless match a few years ago at the Finals. Hopefully he cares less than Halep did a week ago against Svitolina. Thankfully Gasquet isn't a scrub like Svitolina so I'll at least have a shot (once again hopefully).

Meh, was worth the try. Had Gasquet managed to pull out the 1st things just may have been different. Probably shoulda hit the spread too, especially the +1.5 sets, but I was just focused on that last-ditch attempt and wrong choices have pretty much been the story of the season. I've said it a few times then come back into or near the black, but this time I think my first losing season at SBR in any sport is pretty much a sure thing (can't see myself going big on either semi nor the final, still might have a play), kinda bummed but oh well. Hopefully I do better in 2014.

I thought my season was over.. But big play here... Really confident about this match. As opposed to some of my bets recently this has nothing to do with getting back in the black, I really just am that confident about this one. Stepanek knows he needs to preserve energy for the rest of the weekend at 34 yo, playing doubles the next day and probably a decisive rubber on Sunday. Djoko is in some of his best form recently and should want to finish this off quickly. Stepanek is not playing at home either so it's not like he needs to show effort to the crowd or anything like that. This thing spells bloodbath to me. Obviously the last 2 are long shots but I think they actually have a better chance than the odds suggest. We'll see.

So the total record is in fact: 120-154-4, -18.817x

did not check units but they more or less correspond to the spreadsheet, and spreadsheet always forgets a few units or adds some here and there so the fact that it's close indicates it should be correct.. used to really double check the units every time.

Pointer for next year: make vast majority of bets on slams, at least reduce unit size for other tourneys.
