#194Indeed, the extortion and debt collection activity engaged in by Benedetto Carcone, and by the enterprise in general, is at the heart of the conduct targeted by the RICO statute. H.J. Inc., supra, 492 U.S. at 245, 109 S.Ct. at 2903; Russello v. United States, 464 U.S. 16, 26, 104 S.Ct. 296, 302, 78 L.Ed.2d 17 (1983); Turkette, supra, 452 U.S. at 591, 101 S.Ct. at 7532. Such acts of extortion and illegal debt collection inherently exude a "pattern" and a threat of continuing criminal activity.Comment -

#200Holy S! If "Ben" of CW is actually Benedetto "Benny" Carcone, then the plot certainly thickens here. Personally I'm suspicious. I think I've heard 3 or 4 names batted around over the last 6 months about who actually runs that operation (real names). However, this is certainly interesting. Actually would make a lot of sense if it were true. Hmm. Jeez. Personally if I were a stiff or super stiff, I'd pay. But, I wouldn't play there ever again. As has been said on the board recently, seems the business model caters to the desperate and weak. I'm neither, so I'd just as soon watch from afar now. Wow. Interesting soap opera we have here
