It's happened before. I've had an account at Pinnacle for nearly a decade. On at least three occasions that I recall, they were down for significant periods of time, sometimes up to 24 hours.

I'm not sure why back then, and I'm not sure why it has happened this time. But if I were to ever start going into a panic because some twats have joined SBR to announce that the sky is falling, then my next step would be to cease online gambling forever.

I'm not worried in the slightest. I've given up on placing wagers tonight. My goals now are to switch gears and surprise the missus, see if she wants to watch a movie tonight or something; Maybe get a blowjob towards the midnight hour. Then tomorrow I'll check in on the situation and see what's the latest.....

Meanwhile, if it helps me fit in with many others here: "The End is Nigh!!!"

    Have a great evening.....

but at least they could have contact SBR, like they did 4 years ago. I found in players talk a thread, I bumped it up, how they put a notice here about being down for maintence, 4 years ago. And today no msg to SBR.

their servers in the US are down? I don't get it really, cause I know they are not located anywhere near the US. And they are not even open for US customers. But don't pay attention to me... I'm not really a smart guy with regards to computers and stuff like that.

I could understand all the worries if it were a bad book. Cmon, its Pinnacle. I loved playing there. To bad they kicked all the U.S residents out. Money is very safe at Pinnacle. They will be here long after were all gone. Get those panties out of your crack Christos.

i found here few threads about how in the past they been down for many hours even, planned and not planned, they always came back up. One thing I can say personally, they totally didn't act like someone in trouble, I withdrew from them just 2 days ago. They definitly not acting like someone in trouble. And we are reading here some more supportive msgs that it just a tech. issue.

i can connect to thier poker site which is running ( I had it install on my comp so it's not really a website, I guess that's why it's not affected). But there's no way to access sports from there, and even if it was possible they not letting Candians to access the poker as far as I understand. But that's unrelated to today's down. I just got a msg that poker is not available to my area. But sports as we all know is available to canadians. The point I'm trying to make that it seems they OK, and it's just tech. issue.

Thanks Oddsman. There was a major power outage in the hosting facility that houses Pinnacle Sports servers. There are a number of people in Curacao working to fix the problem and to restore access to the website.
