Can someone illuminate me on the issue of brokers for offshore play if you are a U.S. citizen. I got in to AsianConnect several years ago with my normal state I'D and simply registered on their site a different country. I've never had a problem. Is it still the same method now with new brokers or is their a crackdown. Any recommendations? Thanks

Just wondering are the offshore books just going to die now that prediction markets offer liquidity and similar pricing, even better. Kalshi is close to 0% risk of any of these scams and money lost. One can even get interest on the funds at the account. Funds are safe there. We know that at offshore there are reports of money getting lost and funds are definitely not guaranteed, safe.

It certainly seems like they are in a death spiral. Any book other than a couple of A listed books are likely to make your life miserable. Even more so now that the NFL season, their cash cow, is over. Sooo sad. I remember the wild west days when the money and bonuses were flowing!

If they keep up with the commercials, congress will step in with legislation against them. Similar to DK and FD years ago with DFS.
