To elaborate, and I've shared my proof of my bets with Optional, betnow deleted all of my pending futures wagers and kept the stakes as they said I was bet line moves.....on futures........which they take down when games start every day/night and put up the next morning. (make that make sense)
They confiscated just over $5K
The reality is, I had an incredible MLB futures book with them here is where I stood to make low 5-figures with them (again all bets were confirmed by betnow in a recent chat which I have forwarded to Optional)
MLB Player Prop futures (all made in March) 5-1 would be up $375
MLB Make/Miss Playoffs, Made in inseason - 2-0 up $200 (Note to Optional actually had more that they didn't put in the chat but whatever at this point)
MLB Seeding - Most likely scenario up $13K could be as much as $15K (Note to Optional again they didn't include all my bets in the chat for some reason, I also had promising AL futures on the Jays which may or may not get there)
MLB Regular Season Wins (made in season, admittedly their lines were terrible) - Obviously a ways to go but likely around 11-3 would be a conservative estimate of how they would land so probably up around $700. The stupid part here is line moves makes zero sense as they were the only ones I can see that were posting RSW this late in the season for teams that were likely to miss the playoffs...where were the lines moving if no one else had these lines?
So it appears betnow only wants your business if your a losing player and if you start winning they will say things like "line moves" and "fraudulent activity" and not only cancel your bet but keep your stake.
Oddly, after I had online chats with them they invited me to call if I wanted to discuss further. The explanation I got, as the amount of the pending bets didn't match the amount confiscated were "all" my bets were line moves so they were putting my account in a position where I was neither up nor down and invited to me withdraw my money and close my account. I withdrew the monthly maxes and still have a bit left in there.
Bottom line, this is very early betislands-y and I would post up elsewhere.
