Bottom line is it's a pre paid card...if you are smart you won'y have any issues. Try moving 10K a month on any pre paid card you will raise red flags...Banks too

Yes it's a inconvenience no cash back but I have been using daily as usual with min inconvenience too me as I use it for everyy day purchases

Your right if rewards are crap. There are some nicer cards with better rewards though.
Uber veesa gives 4% on all fastfood or any restaurants, and 2% ANYTHING you buy online (even SB deposits lol)
amex blue card get 6% back on groceries. Even though pay 95 bucks annually, use pretty much all 6k yearly allowance on 6% grocery earning, so 360.00-95.00, so still equates to 4.4 % rebate (gives 3% gas too)
costco veesa has great 4% back on gas
im just a rebate whore can you tell.
us bank has different quarterly bonus categories which always choose utility and phone bills (get a nice 5% back on each)
so for me it adds up and is worth it, but to each their own, nice breakdown though LOL

i cant believe this....i just sent 8000 to my bitpay wallet and when i went to load my bitpay card, it asked for encrpt passowrd which i never remember getting, and then asks for 12 step recovery which i dont have either. I emailed support but im so screwed. im reading everywhere that this is not possible to recover without these. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

I hope you got this figured out. I had that problem but only $250 and luckily I had the 12 step recovery. I never was asked to encrypt wallet and it said I did, I'm pretty sure it's a glitch in the bitpay app that assumes you encrypted when you never did.

lol I always break everything down when it comes to money. I will definitely check out those CC with the high rebates back. Always looking for more. I have a grocery/fast food card that gives me 3% back in gasoline (not cash.) Comes in handy because the station is down the street. And I have a CC that gives me 2% back on everything.

same auto response working on and will provide update via email as soon as new info is available...asked if they are closing down and they said absolutely not...No biggie as long as they stay open and things are like today with MO and debit card purchasing I am fine with that

There is this small group of people who you can say "I will let you know when the situation changes" over and again and they will still keep wasting your support staff's time demanding updates every few days.

They obviously should not sound annoyed at customers, but if they do, you know that you are one of the 20% that costs 80% of the support staff budget.

I don't know how or why people are having issues with the MO's at Walmart? Are they having issues remembering their PIN? Punching it in wrong? I just don't get it.

I've only called them the one time, and only pressed the issue simply to try and get a vibe on the situation if possible. I mistakenly gave them the benefit of the doubt at first, but seeing as we are going on over a month now with nothing updated I have a right as a customer to be irritated with them.

I believe some gas stations and hotel processors have the ability to put on "extra holds" to your deb cards. So you can easily see an "extra" hold of $30-$75 dollars... to protect the merchant. (Causing your card to have a balance in the negative.) These holds can be on your Bitpay card for as long as 30 full days. Yes, I had one that lasted 30 days.

The merchant was already paid. But the card still had a hold for the same amount.... the "pending" charge never wanted to fall off. Happened 1 time.

There is no longer anyway to talk to a live operator when you call the number. It's just a recording now. Not good.

You can still talk to an operator, just don't select the option that takes you to the recorded message.

You can do the same with the Bitpay card.

But I don't think thats what happened with the guys who went negative balance above. I think Bitpay just let you slightly overdraw it so transactions are not surprisingly declined due to unexpected fees.

I’m thinking bitpay has gone coinbase where they have to report btc transfers to a certain amount - they are just not saying it yet.

Doubt..bitpay is major player in crypto processing’s...I think they may be looking at usage if it has gone down enough to bring cash back options back...makes no sense but card for me is still awesome...I suggest getting a bluebird card to anyone w. Bitpay...easy way to access cash with no fees but limited

Have you talked to someone recently? I've tried both options and one tells me they only accept emails now. Nevermind. I must have called during non bussiness hours. I finally got through.
