#107I fail to see how agents providing services to UK residents aren't subject to the same tax regime as those deserting.
I think there's a good deal of false hope amongst those suggesting they are a solution.Comment -

Sportmarket Pro is fantastic for soccer play, automatically gives you the best price from pinny/sbo/ibc/isn/samvo/matchbook, from a single account.
Who knows how financially stable they are though.....Comment -

#110If they aren't based in the UK, and don't obviously market themselves in the UK they may get away with it. The enforcement measures are fairly weak in this case.Originally posted by Hareeba!I fail to see how agents providing services to UK residents aren't subject to the same tax regime as those deserting.

#111I was wondering the same thing. isn't the "point of consumption" the same whether you use a broker or if you bet directly with the bookie?Originally posted by Hareeba!I fail to see how agents providing services to UK residents aren't subject to the same tax regime as those deserting.

#116They aren't worried when it comes down to it about sharp people carrying on with non-UK books. There is no attempt at blocking anything, and people doing it aren't committing any offence either.
Most books these days that are regulated elsewhere though don't want too obvious grey business in case it rebounds on them, either with their current regulator, or if they want to re-enter the UK market at a later date. An agent may only make it light grey but they can try to maintain they don't know where the ultimate customer is.Comment
