Second. Legends has never stealed money from anyone, and I am pretty sure players will be able to see their funds in another SB.Comment -

you guys that are under the impression that these forum owners know what the fukk is going on, are being completely ignorant, unfortunately... sbr doesnt have shit to do with where legends accts go, nor did they have any say so with a book cutting ties with moneybookers
shaunovery, they cut legends money the day the shit hit the fan...
of course sbr knows which book, they're negotiating this deal and getting a cut.

#325What we have here is...deafening silence by our "watchdog" in the face of a close confluence of a few occurrences (one of them quite major) affecting access to our money...
if SBR brass really "know nothing" (brings to mind Sgt. Schultz on Hogan's Heroes) of any substance... then they should at least come on and tell us that...rather than let us twist in the wind while getting increasingly suspicious about whose interests SBR really is keen to protect...
no contributions of any import for the last 12 hours to this thread...combined with closing down a thread started to discuss Bodog.ca's immediate removal of a major payment method (i was hoping to eventually get their rep to chime in on that...how does closing down that thread help anyone?)...Comment -

#329What I don't understand is how a thriving book like Legends can't settle accounts after they lost their gaming license. Did the Panamanian government raided their coffers and took all their money away? Just because they don't have a gaming licence anymore it doesn't mean they don't have money to settle accounts.Comment -

#330Ray,
I still find it entertaining that you believe SBR knows as much as any poster here, and as you hinted, they might even know a little less. Legends would have been demolished if it weren't for forums like SBR. There's nothing about this book that makes it competitive. No overnight lines, late lines, higher than industry averages for W/D's, no reduced juice, and low limits. SBR helped to build Legends and any future deal is likely to include, to some degree, SBR. If you had the Greek, pinnacle, 5dimes, Youwager--JJ's favorite,Bet Islands--obv before they went bust, Heritage, and Legends...which book would you have tossed out of the picture first? If you don't answer Legends, you're dumb as nails. Then throw in all of the other books and it's a miracle this book saw any action. You really should give SBR a little more credit.Comment -

#337Ray,
14k does not mean chit. SBR and the forums built this book...it's so obvious. How many posters joined Legends sponsored contests over the years and created an account? How many posters used Legends as their go pro book, because they had already had accounts with reputable books? Legends and SBR are interconnected and Legends couldn't have survived without the forums. Maybe now they can, because there's only a few left standing, but back then, books like Legends had zero chance of increasing their market share by outcompeting the heavyweights.Comment -

#340sounds like you guys got it all figured out...... h.e. what you think you know and what is fact, are worlds apart, but i like you and dont want to argue about trivial stuff(truth be told, legends could have survived off its credit side alone, but i know you dont want to hear any facts, so ill put it to rest)...hope we all get some answers tomorrow and personally, i hope legends gets out of the jam and somehow gets back to business...its doubtful and wishful thinking, but they were one of the well run joints that took care of players.
