Let me know when this is resolved. I have already lost my money, no need in sulking on the board about it.

#390To appease many of us gamblers that need to get our MLB, NHL or NBA playoff bets in NOW and to keep us Legends customers from thinking automatically their cash is gone, they made the mistake IMO of putting 24-48 hours in their letter. 1. All you have to do is look at last months players poll, to see how big SBR influence was at Legends. If it's A rated (for what it is worth) but only has 29 votes (10th place) you know there weren't that many SBR post up players there.
2. I visited their office in Panama about 5 years ago. Had a tour by 'Max' of their facilities. Reading between the lines (as he didnt give me an exact number) I could conclude they had a little under 10,000 players at that time. So my guess would be that it could be anywhere between 8,000 and 15,000 players by now. My guess about 10 to 30 % of these are post-up players. so anywhere from 800 to 4,500 players.
3. The feds are claiming about a billion dollars and it seems they have some inside information (know everyone in the legends organisation). I have seen several of these cases and usually the feds are too stupid or just greedy so they take the volume/handle and claim that. This means they 'know' of about a billion dollars in handle. Way too small for a group of this size, but what ever.
4. The reason Legends is not moving shop (which they could easily do) is that everyone and their kids (bank accounts) are on the indictment. The first thing the lawyers will tell you is that you have to stop operation. Selling your customer base is considered continuance of the business and will only make it harder for you with the Feds. the fact they are trying to find a home means they are taking a risk and apparently care for their customers.
5. The post-up money is not confiscated, none of the post-up was in the USA. All processors sent money to just about any other country except the USA. Also post-up part of the money this group made is peanuts, the real money was in the agent/credit business.
6. Any other book that does not take agent business should be okay. Most times these books get in trouble because of their agent business. It's takes a lot of bookies to get 8,000 players together. If a couple of these are not careful they will get in trouble with local law enforcement they smell pay day and then it starts from there.
Just wait and see, any book to take these players on (in public) has to be either already indicted and not give a f*ck or have a wish to be indicted. The fact they indicted an affiliate means these feds are like a dog with a bone. cris/bookmaker would be my guess.

#405Exactly, I guarantee there's a deal being made and Legends is going to profit on this sale. I bet the company in question is going to pay a fraction per dollar and Legends keeps the rest. Rollover ensures that the book to be named profits on this too. SBR, here's your chance to regain some credibility.
Apparently one of the "conspiracy theorist's" educated guesses was not all that far off.Comment -

#411isnt that weird?
i posted in another thread that people would not be happy about what book
my source also said the rollover would be rediculous
i also said SBR had a nice hand in this
raydog called me out - its cool - but my source was right, yet again
i got a warning thru inbox for swearing - and my posts were moved to this thread within 3 mins
now after everything comes out - i go back to quote what i said and it magically disappeared
expect wagerweb to be #10 or higher in next months SBR reliable poll

#412Ray,
My other arguments are that SBR played a role in building Legends, SBR knows more than the average poster, and SBR's revenue creates a bias--as shown in the Bet Revolution case. These are all within reason.Comment -

#416H.E. its not worth the argument...others, who also know people there and the operation, have chimed in to validate what i was trying to explain, and if thats not good enough for you, then its just not worth anyone bringing it up anymore...
gl meeting rollover and hope you can run the fukk up out of your balance...the 10x ro sucks fukking bad(assuming this is adjusted by the balance) ... so many will bust out and thats very unfortunate...

Next up is the book that has a string of hits, including the December 2007 chart topper "We confiscated $37,451; because of wagering fraud" and the remake of the Carrie Underwood smash "Cheating Sharp Players" from March 2008. Their latest hit is on the way down the SBR charts and checks in at #37. Here's "Correlated Parlay Case"

#420Wagerweb...hmmmm...this is the book that RobmPink, formerly the chief BI (v1.0) nut-rider at SBR has moved onto pimping for.
Whatever happened to the move to an "A" rated book with 2x rollover...
guess we didn't see the word "hole" imbedded in the fine print after the "A"...
BI v2.0 indeed!Comment
