#179I've been here from the moment you started at SBR. You were not joking. You're also not someone who posts in an S&I thread. Why do people no longer own up to their stuff? Seriously I don't get it. It's not like I'm going to be offended. I'm more offended when ppl try to use the "ooooh I was just joking" thing when getting called out. I have zero problem with Mike. I love Mike. I hope to be in Vegas with Mike and Mrs Mike very very very soon. The situation in this thread is about Legends and where people are having their accounts transferred to. Truly the only thing I'm aiming to do is disseminate information from bs. SBR soap operas are irrelevant in here.
Second, do you honestly think that I believe you were ordered to run mike off the board?
Man are you wound tight today or what?Comment -

#189You are not understanding what was said. I responded to you earlier with that quote from elsewhere because for some reason you think what happened with BetJam accounts should apply to Legends accounts ie no rollover. You do this every single time any issue arises, usually followed by a claim that you're never returning to SBR again. Countless times.
You were given the reason why there wasn't a rollover in the first instance. I even used someone else's words to blatantly spell it out for you. If you don't understand the difference between the 2 situations no one can help you. Legends - not Spiros - has secured a 2x rollover for accounts being transferred after they lost their licence to operate. Up until then they were still paying out after the indictments. They had a Plan B just in case the worst case scenario happened. It has and now this is the result. Not sure if you have an active, funded account at Legends but anyone who does who has a clue about this industry should be dancing in the streets right now. Much better than the ridiculous offers I've seen bandied around for less serious scenarios. 15x rollover after 50% cash deposit anyone?
2. Heritage is the Greek and the Greek is heritage. A spin off similar to bodog into bovada but not as public.
3. A+ books are supposed to have the liquidity and funds on hand to survive a "run on the bank" that an emergency like this may cause. The fault for the lack in liquidity in this case lies with Legends. If the DOJ secured their funds in a foreign country an argument can be made that this was unforeseen. The DOJ has made a habit of going after processors and funds of sportsbooks and online poker sites. The business model of having assets in the United States is not a prudent one in this atmosphere. The DOJ is not acting out of character..
Now for what I am inferring.....DOJ had a so called agreement with the greek. It left the USA market....it rebranded itself as Heritage. DoJ taps SKYPE conversations. Did the DOJ find out that maybe Spiros had more of an interest in Legends besides a rumored or in fact loan for the building? If the Legends transition does go to Heritage it is in essence a transfer to the Greek which is owned by Spiros.
So if the option is presented that besides the 2x rollover that people that have balances wait x amount of weeks or months to get there money then the rollover is fine by me. If not IMO it is a tax for the poor business model of Legends
I will not attack shari personally because it gets nowhere and I dont care enough about any mod on SBR after the BI money grabComment -

#1901. The 2x rollover is essentially a tax on the lack of forethought on having assets, bank accounts, and whatever else the DOJ can get their hands on either in the geographic USA or in their reach.

As for Maron: The Greek didn't get touched by the DOJ. Legends did. In 96 pages of an indictment the Greek s fine. You cannot assume what happened with the Greek's clients should happen with Legends'. That's what I was trying to say over and over and over. Stop comparing the two.Comment -

#198Yeah it seems one of my colleagues linked it to PT, which explains a lot of the wacked out comments in here.

I'm not sure of the etiquette but do a search of what Tony/5Dimes said publicly after BI. Him and Calvin along with the Cris family would be the ones I'd feel ok with. As for any others, I haven't bet with them so I refuse to say yay or nay. There are people in here shilling YouWager but I truly have no clue other than a few friends said it was good for easy money. I assumed bonuses but they could've meant cashback for all I know.Comment -

I may be a back luck to any sportsbook. Seems like every book I touch ends up getting turned upside down sooner than later: Bodog, BetJamaica, BetIslands, and now Legends. Only book I've ever played at that hasn't been shutdown was JustBet.Last edited by Speedy88; 04-17-13, 05:37 PM.Comment -

#201Maron you should at least know me well enough by now to know that I won't watch anything with Ms. Tilly in it.
I respect and value your opinion always even if I think you're being antagonastic for other causes. It's people like you that I come here to see and encourage me to comment about. We won't always agree and one of these days I'm sure you will be banned from here when you ask to be yet again but at least you're consistent. We just prefer to give people about 100 chances of saying they want to be banned before they are. Either way, love and respect your opinions as always.Comment -

#2081. no mames guey
A Spanish slang phrase commonly used by Mexicans. Geuy means a jerk (other translations for guey are dude, bro, punk, and more), but young Mexican people use it to adress their friends in a teasing manner. The whole phrase "no mames guey" translates as "You must be kidding, man!" but most people use it refering to its other definitions, such as "Don't penetrate with me!" or "Don't give me shit!"
1. Non agressive example ("you must be kidding"):
"Yea, so I just bought a new TV which is flatscreen and HD!"
"No mames guey! Thats awsome."
2. Agessive example ("don't penetrate with me"):
"Hey, will you ask your mom how much I owe her for last night?"
"No mames guey!"Comment -
