I don't except Jon to come here to tell us what's going on, especially if he's dealing with a computer meltdown. But it would be great if the people in charge of SBR could call them, get the most updated information and tell us. SBR gives these guys a B rating, which is a pretty high endorsement, so they should be getting as much information as they can. Leaving players in the dark is wrong.

Hey buddy, i play there and like it! however I have no balance there. If i did have a balance and was unable to place a wager via a phone call becuase the website, they'd have to give a freeplay to pacify me.

I got through to them on the phone. They said, server problem and that they are working on it. A lot of activity in the background. They offered to take bets on full games over the phone, but couldn't tell me my balance due to server issues. Not panic time by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely not comforting either. Certainly an annoyance. I guess this is part of what you have to put up with to get free half pts at -107 for half the season.

While I am as annoyed as anyone on here, I think this story adds up as there was a 10 minute stretch when the site starting working again which I think is pretty indicative of a short-term technology issue (check the thread it was about 3-4 hours ago).

The bottom line is I AM not a representative, paid poster, dick sucker, ass fker of Betislands. I've been a satisfied player of theirs since they became mainstream about 20 months ago. Stuff happens. Jon hears you, if you have an issue, and most of the time offers you a solution. It is obvious those screaming bloody murder have been with them less than a year, are just f'in nuts or 17 years old.

HIS JOB is not to speak to everyone and inform them what s going on. But there should be customer service on the phone to be able to. There is not. that does fall on him.

Incorrect. I have noticed you're are on several sports forums and have literally 1000's of plugs for BI. For you to do that with no financial interest makes you an odd charcter and I believe perhaps that is all there is to it.

When a server goes down, it might be a good idea to have a page that at least says "experiencing technical difficulties" rather than just a browser timeout. They are answering the phone, taking bets, and that is fine. The fastest way to make your customers nervous is a browser timeout.

dudley put the crack pipe down! "site will be up when it's up" ??? When one handles large sums large sums of 10's of thousands other peoples CASH(betislands)I think it's safe to say not all betislands customers are SBR posters

the website being down is bad enough and for a player that forgives that and calls a phone to place his wager and is unable to, that is bad business.

Let me recap.

BI is down. The mirror doesn't work. 99.99% of people could make their wager over the # listed in this thread. It is not the best method to put a bet in for some, understandably so. It is an injustice to some and incomprehensible to them as well. A man who has the day off and wants to gamble his hard earned money can't because the website is down, is the .0000001% who can't get through on the telephone # provided and is about to spontaneous combust because USC scored quickly in the 2nd half. Hankwins says I plug BI at several forums, at least 1k posts, yet can't back up his statement, because it isn't true.

Guys, voice your frustration in here. It is natural. When the lights are melting off your stage makeup, it is obvious.
