I think you are right. But don't underestimate Ajax this season, especially in home games. Ajax is determined to win this first match against a weakened Lyon to get off to a good start in the CL where they are eyeing the 2nd place behind Madrid.
Ajax isn't the Ajax squad of the last years anymore, remember the 2-0 defeat last year at Madrid where they could have been beaten 8-0, with Frank de Boer as head coach. That won't happen again this year. Sure they can catch a 2-0 beating at Madrid but not the way they did last year (worst game I have Ajax ever seen play in my life).
I think they got a good chance to beat Lyon Wednesday, and if they don't; at least it made me some money.
