Honduras' defense got absolutely shredded by Korea in a friendly last Friday, 4-0. China will be playing their third friendly in four days with three goals scored & three goals conceded in that span. Fatigue could certainly be an issue with China even if the lineup changes again. I think both teams will score here.

MARCH 30th: [EURO QUALIFIER] ISRAEL-GEORGIA UNDER 2.5 [-135]
Georgia scored the shock 1-0 home win over Croatia last time out to give themselves a boost in this grouping. They are now in 3rd, just one point behind Croatia and two ahead of Israel who stands 4th. All five of Georgia's qualifiers have finished at two goals or less. They play a defensively style & would certainly be fine with a draw today. Israel has only failed to score once in their five group matches, but that was against Georgia. That is also the only match in which they kept a clean sheet. While Israel will push for a victory here, Georgia's tactics may stifle them again. I can see a couple goals here potentially, but hopefully no more than that.

MARCH 30th: [FRIENDLY] CROATIA-FRANCE OVER 2 [-117]
The French have been a revelation since switching to Blanc as manager. France has tallied at two goals a piece in five of their last six matches. They face a Croatia side which was a surprise loser to Georgia in Euro qualification over the weekend. The Croats had been in great scoring form with eleven goals in their previous four matches before being shut out by the Georgians. France is expected to switch up their lineup today with Blanc set to give some opportunities to all of his players after he failed to come away impressed despite their 2-0 win over Luxembourg. Blanc has said he will use all the subs he can today. I don't expect France to treat this simply as a warm-up type match as Blanc has worked hard to instill a winning atmosphere with this team. This is also a chance for some of the French players like Ribery to atone somewhat for the mutiny during the World Cup. For Croatia, it's a chance to refind their scoring touch.

Too juicy by themselves to place single plays for me on either of those overs at 2.5 goals each, but parlaying them together makes for a great return. Northern Ireland has been pounded in their last two matches for eight goals combined by Spain & England. Belgium might not quite be in that class, but they scored in each match in this Elite round vs. Spain & England while yielding five goals. They're also playing at home today. The Irish have also not been kept off the scoresheet with three goals through two matches in the Elite round. Spain & England is the "sexy" match of the day here and both are capable of putting up big goal totals. England has five goals and three conceded in this round while Spain has scored eight and conceded two.

Yeah two scoreless halves. N.Ireland gets an early goal in the 2nd. This is why I didn't want to overpay for one of these matches by themselves for an over - you never know.

Illychivets has given up five goals in their last two matches with three goals scored in that span. Shakhtar Donetsk has been switching between Euro play in the Champions League and league play with solid results all-around. This match gives them some prep for Barcelona this next week in CL play. Shakhtar dropped a 1-0 decision to Karpaty last time out on the road, but bounced back at home 4-0 over Volyn. Shakhtar's manager has said this is an important match to win with players returning from international duty with some in foul moods due to results. Illychivets also features several ex-Shakhtar players who should be motivated here.

UC has been a solid scoring outfit at home this campaign with a goal scored in all eleven home matches. That have conceded in all but one of those matches. Dinamo have not been their sharpest on the road with a goalless draw last time out against Rapid. Still, they have shown plenty of attack oriented futbol over the course of the season as they lead Romania's top flight league with 47 goals in 22 matches. 19 of those have come in ten road tilts where they have also allowed ten goals. Since play resumed late in February, Dinamo have seven goals and three conceded in four matches. UC has conceded multiple goals in three of their four matches since returning to action with five goals scored in two home matches and three conceded in those matches.
