So apparently not only do I attract the red cards, but the missed penalty kicks as well. That is gonna end up boning this play. Thanks Roma!

Marco Borriello - he'll be the one who gets my hate mail when this ends 2-0. He boned the PK.

MARCH 9th: [CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] TOTTENHAM-AC MILAN OVER 2.5 [+100] The Spurs hold a 1-0 lead after a somewhat shocking win in Italy in the 1st leg. Now as they host the 2nd leg, one would expect more open play today. Tottenham doesn't know how to play without attacking from my experiences in watching this club, so I would not expect Redknapp to have his troops try simply to shut Milan down. Milan for their part MUST attack, needing goals to try and secure advancement. Gareth Bale could be a key substitute for the Spurs today and Milan has admitted as much that they are scared shitless of his speed. Spurs CL clashes had all seen plenty of goals this session prior to the meeting at San Siro. I think there will be a return to that form today hopefully.

Knew one of these was going to have goals, picked the wrong one apparently. Gallas clearing that one off the line was incredible and unfortunate.

MARCH 11th: [TURKEY] MANISASPOR-BESIKTAS OVER 2.5 [-135] The home side have been good at scoring at home with at least one goal in five straight. They have conceded multiple goals in their last three at home and in three of five overall. Besiktas have been up & down in the league, but play open and to score. Besiktas is also chasing a Europa League spot, so they should come out hard. Manisaspor has scored & conceded in 13 straight matches in all competitions.

MARCH 13th: [SERIE A] CAGLIARI-UDINESE OVER 2.5 [-113] Udinese has nailed multiple tallies on the road in six straight road tilts in Serie A play. Cagliari has tallied at least one goal in seven of eight at home and has allowed at least one goal in five of their last six at home. Even though Udinese have been pretty solid defensively of late, I think scoring is on tap here.

MARCH 13th: [PORTUGAL] PORTIMONENSE +2 [-130] Despite being the chum of Portugal's top league, Portimonense has not been utterly destroyed in most matches. On the road, they have not lost by more than two goals in ten matches. Benfica has made it a routine to blast teams at home with 14 wins in their last 15 overall competitions at home. In league play, Benfica has won by more than two goals in four of eleven. They have the return leg of their Europa League encounter with PSG on-tap on Thursday, so one would think once Benfica gets the lead - they may be fine with winning a simple one goal match. Portimonense probably won't escape relegation with where they sit, but they have shown well in spite of that. Against Porto, they were unfortunate to lose by two goals on the road as they gave up a PK in the 90th minute. Benfica will be resting some regulars today, so while victory is expected I do not think they will destroy Portimonense and the +2 on the handicap hopefully yields no worse than a push.

MARCH 14th: [ROMANIA] ASTRA PLOIESTI PK/+0.5 [-109] Not sure why Cluj is getting the respectful price in this one, but I will gladly take Astra here as they are a tough nut to crack defensively. While their offense is lacking, this one looks like a chance for them to at least take a point on the draw as they have now gone seven straight at home without dropping points in league play. They also have five straight clean sheets at home in league play. Cluj has only taken full points once in ten road matches on the season.

MARCH 14th: [ENGLAND] NORWICH CITY-BRISTOL CITY OVER 2.5 [-124] Norwich City has scored and conceded in six of their last seven overall in Championship League action. At home, that streak is at five straight. Bristol has scored multiple goals in five of their last seven overall. On the road, they have 12 goals in their last four matches.

MARCH 15th: [ASIA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] HANGZHOU GREEN +1 [-102] The Chinese side knocked off the Japanese Champions Nagoya Grampus in the opening clash of the AFC CL with a 2-0 mark at home. Now they charge to the road where they face Korean Champs, FC Seoul. Seoul slid past Al Alin 1-0 on the road to win their opening match, but have struggled in two matches domestically since. They lost their league home opener and drew 1-1 on the road. Seoul's manager admitted some frustration with the tactics taken to slow his team defensively and has bitched about the home pitch already, showing perhaps some strain under pressure even early in the domestic season. The surprising win for Hangzhou Green has them on top of Group F with Seoul. Getting a point on the road today would be big and I expect them to play accordingly.

MARCH 15th: [CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] BAYERN MUNICH-INTER MILAN OVER 2.5 [-128] Lots of blown scoring chances in the 1st leg that saw Bayern snatch a late goal to win 1-0. Now in Germany for the 2nd leg, Inter must attack and win this match. That should leave them more prone to being counter punched by Bayern who will look to break the Italians' spirits with an early goal or more. Let's hope the finishing touch is found today vs. the 1st leg where it was absent despite plenty of chances.
