Aberdeen is on the road to battle Hamilton as the relegation battle kicks into high gear. Hamilton is already just about destined for the drop with these five matches to go, while Aberdeen can take a big step toward locking up a Premier League spot for next season with a solid result today. I believe a win would lock them into avoiding relegation. Hamilton played 16 matches at home this season with NO WINS. Aberdeen has won the last three meetings between the two.

Steaua have been steadier in the scoring department lately with goals in three of their last four. At home, they have scored in 11 of 13. They do have clean sheets in three of their last five overall. Dinamo lead the league with 23 road goals in 13 matches & rank 1st in goals scored altogether with 56. Their defense has been troubling on the road in recent matches with seven allowed in their last three. Huge "derby" match here with the season winding down and Steaua two points ahead of Dinamo in the chase for a spot in Europe.

Ujpest has lost eight straight on the road & nine of their last ten. Ujpest has failed to score in four of five on the road. Haladas has seven clean sheets during their home win streak.

Skipping sides and totals. First legs of these are unpredictable more than the return legs in my opinion. Corners though I will take a pot shot at. Schalke SHOULD attack at home, knowing they have to score to have a chance when this tie goes on the road next time. United for their part, while likely going for a draw at worse today, have plenty of quality to pressure the German side if they choose. Attacking futbol usually yields a decent amount of corners. This should be a good formula if one of these teams can snatch a first half goal & force the other side to respond. Heavy chalk, but fukk the world, I'm on it.

West Brom has zero clean sheets this season in 34 matches. At home, 10 of their last 11 have hit for at least three goals. Aston Villa comes in with some defensive issues on the road. Villa has allowed multiple goals in four of their last six road matches. They have no clean sheets in 17 road tilts in the EPL. Villa has managed to score in eight straight on the road, including multiple tallies in five of their last eight.

APRIL 30th: [GERMANY] BAYERN MUNICH-SCHALKE UNDER 3.5 [-135]
A pivotal match for Bayern Munich in the race for a Champions League spot, while Schalke will have an eye focused on their return clash in the CL with Manchester United mid-week. While this may not mean much to Schalke in terms of their domestic campaign which is a lost cause, don't expect a limited side today. On the road, Schalke has not played a match above three goals in eight straight in Bundesliga play. They have struggled for goals away with multiple strikes in just three of 15 road matches and they have only scored more than one goal in one of their last five matches in league play. Bayern has been a blistering scoring side at home with four goals or better in four of their last six. They also have four clean sheets in that same span. The good news for an under is Neuer will be in goal today for Schalke and he has been solid all season. If Schalke can keep Bayern to two goals or less, I think this has a definite shot.

Yeah that one was a little lucky I feel. Always funny when the team that gets the red card scores a goal after. But a win is a win. Went with Real Salt Lake-Portland o2.5 tonight. Posting in a SBR points betting thread in PT.
