PLAY #30: [EUROPA LEAGUE] Timisoara vs. MyPa OVER 2.5/3 [-118] The Romanians hold a 2-1 edge as they host the 2nd leg of this tie with the important advantage of having those two away goals. Timisoara though has had some issues with their defense in the first couple of matches in their league play, yielding four goals while scoring four. MyPa is deep in their league play in Finland and has shown a confident side scoring both home and away. In earlier Europa League qualis, they scored seven goals in their two away matches combined. Knowing that they must score a couple goals to even consider themselves a shot to advance, the Fins should play open and I think Timisoara will oblige by taking advantage of any openings given to them to score more and put a stamp on advancement. Going safer with the split total instead of the higher chalk for the flat 2.5 line as I think there's a shot for this to hit for more than 3 anyhow.

PLAY #31: [FRIENDLY] F.C. Dallas vs. Inter Milan OVER 3 [-122] As with all friendlies, don't go over board. It's hotter than hell in Texas still. Even though this match starts in about 15 minutes and the sun will be going down, it's still blazing in the 90s here. Inter has played two friendlies to-date with five goals scored and two conceded. Their most recent was a 3-2 loss to Greek outfit, Panathinaikos. FCD has said they expect to field a strong side tonight with only a goal keeping change and perhaps one other in the mid field. So most of their starters will get PT tonight. With the heat, expect plenty of half time subs for both sides. FCD will probably be allowed to go on the attack more in this one than they have all season in MLS where they have struggled to score a ton. Still, with the heat and fatigue probably coming into play along with what should generally be an All-Star atmosphere for the Texas fans, I see goals tonight. I think Inter will nail a couple more tonight and looking to save face at home, I think F.C. Dallas should find the back of the net too. Thinking a push hopefully is the worst case scenario in this one.

PLAY #32: [AUSTRIA ERSTE DIVISION] Grodig vs. St.Polten OVER 3 [-106] Five matches into the season and both these squads have shown a propensity to attract goals. Out of their ten combined matches, just one has failed to hit four goals or better. At home, Grodig has tallied seven goals in two matches, while yielding two. St.Polten has conceded six in two away tilts, while hitting two goals on the road. Both teams have only failed to score in one match so far this season.

Still maybe 10 minutes left, but at 1-0 I'm calling this one a loss. Was probably way over due for one.

Play #22: [MLS] Kansas City vs. Real Salt Lake UNDER 2.5 [-125] This is for Saturday night, but I won't be around for the majority of time before then, so here's what I like. Kansas City has not gone five straight matches with totals at 2 goals or less. Their defense has been better with four goals allowed in that stretch. They have two clean sheets in that span. RSL we know is a much different road side compared to being at home in the altitude of Salt Lake. The humid and hot conditions in Kansas City may take a toll on this side as well. RSL on the road this year have just 7 goals in 8 matches compared to 24 goals at home. Traditionally, these matches in KC are low scoring and slightly favor the home team. With KC's increased form in recent weeks and Real Salt Lake's lack of road scoring, this one looks like a 1-0, 1-1 possibility.

PLAY #34: [MLS] Chicago vs. N.Y. Red Bull OVER 2.5 [-113] The Fire have only kept one clean sheet in 7 home matches this season and have only failed to score in one home match as well. Overall, they have conceded at least one goal in 9 of their last 10 matches. The Fire's offense was deadly accurate against L.A. last match, scoring three goals. Add into the mix Freddie Ljunberg and Nery Castillo and the Fire figure to feature a pretty potent attack. The Red Bull get their second look at the pairing of Henry & Angel. The duo looked like they had been playing together all season in Henry's regular season debut last match, but the Red Bull defense failed as they settled for a 2-2 draw with the Dynamo. That came despite playing the entire second half with a man advantage. The Red Bull may be getting stronger along their back line with the signing of Mexico's Rafa Marquez, but it could take some time for him to gel with the rest of their defense. For me, I think the attacking style of these two teams with their recent additions should lead to a nice flow in this match. With the Fire still allowing goals in most matches and the Red Bull having allowed multiple goals in three of their last five road matches, I can see this one featuring offense over defense.

Yeah misquoted the position there. Fire aren't going forward much at all in this match. Little to zero shot at 3 goals in the 2nd half unless something weird happens.

I like 1st half Over 0.5/1 in the Seattle-Houston match. Houston's D has been porous on the road. Seattle is a better offensive club at home.

PLAY #35: [MLS] N.Y. Red Bull -149 Red Bull will be happy to return home after three frustrating road draws in a row. They played pretty well against Chicago, but were shut down by the Fire's goal keeper. The pairing of Henry and Angel has shown a good work rate already, but they are being depended on to score and score they must. Henry should play despite a groin injury suffered in that match. Toronto is 1-6-1 on the road this season while NY is 5-2-1. Red Bull will be without Marquez in the midfield I believe for international duty. This is a key match in the East with Toronto just two points behind the Red Bull for 2nd place. Against one of the poorest road sides in MLS, the Red Bull need to find a way to get the full three points.

PLAY #36: [CZECH GAMBRINUS] Pribram +0.5 [-103] Pribram battles Sparta Prague at home in this one. Sparta Prague has lost both of their road matches early in the new season, while Pribram has been stout at home with two scoreless draws against good competition. Pribram has won or earned a draw in 13 of their past 15 home matches in league play dating back to the Spring.

Well that blew. Played almost the entire second half with Sparta Prague down a man after a red card and they couldn't get the equalizer. 1-0 loss.
