PLAY #44: [FINLAND VEIKKAUSLIIGA] Mariehamn PK/+0.5 [-114]
Mariehamn suffered a big hiccup last time out, losing at home to a poor Oulu side. That broke a string of six straight unbeaten matches. On the road, Mariehamn has only failed to gain a result in one of eight tries. From what I gather, they are getting a boost with a defensive player returning from suspension. Jaro is the competition here. At home, Jaro has won two straight and stand at 3-3-2 at home this season. Mariehamn has been a quality road side in Finland this season and needing to bounce back after the Oulu loss to keep away from the relegation zone, I think they'll be good to snag a result here.

Looks like Mariehamn got plenty of support, price on the ML for them has dropped and juice on the PK/+0.5 line is up. Hopefully we are all smart, S-M-R-T.

PLAY #45: [ROMANIA LIGA 1] Rapid Bucuresti vs. Gloria Bistrita OVER 2/2.5 [-102]

Rapid Bucuresti still has to be kicking themselves after blowing a 2-0 half time lead last time out to Dinamo. They should be returning home angry and in need of a win with just one so far in four league matches. Until their encounter with Dinamo, Rapid's defense had been stellar with no goals allowed through their first three matches. Gloria Bistrita has had plenty of issues keeping their opponents off the scoresheet on the road with six goals allowed in two matches. Last time out against one of what looks like Liga 1's worst, they did manage to keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 home win. All four of their matches this session have featured at least two goals with three of them netting three or more.

PLAY #46: [MLS] Toronto F.C. vs. N.Y. Red Bull UNDER 2.5/2 [-107]
Hard to go against defense in this one. Red Bull have allowed just one goal in their last three matches. The problem is their offense is MIA as well with just one goal in that same span. On the road this season in MLS, NY has scored 11 goals in 10 matches. Two of the last three on the road, they have been kept off the scoresheet. Toronto sports the league's stiffest home defense, conceding just five goals in 10 home matches. Five of the last six in Toronto have featured two goals or less. These two squads just played on the 11th with NY scoring a slim 1-0 win at home. Expecting a similar low scoring affair as both teams jockey for position in the East with NY five points ahead of Toronto. Toronto is just two points ahead of Chicago for the final position in the East.

SATURDAY EPL DRAW PROJECT

Going to try and take two matches when I see fit on the draw line in the EPL. Won't put these in the overall record as these are a side project so to speak. Aim is to go 1-1 at worst and gain a profit. Tomorrow's tries.

One more time, taking the hottest and still perhaps best team in MLS right now. FCD has not been beaten in their last 10 overall. At home, they have won five, lost just once and produced three draws. Chivas has two wins, six losses and two draws on the road. F.C. Dallas has won four straight at home and the heat in Texas this evening may wind up being a big factor against the travellers from California. FCD won the previous meeting this season 2-1 at Chivas. With the race in the West still very tight, FCD should be keen to get all three points here to keep themselves from getting caught in the battle for the fourth playoff spot.

Morelia's defense has been air tight this season, conceding just one goal in three matches. In their last five overall, they have given up just two goals [includes Super Liga matches]. Necaxa has yielded three goals in four league matches so far. All four matches have ended with two goal totals. Outside of their explosion against Queretaro with six goals, Morelia has struggled to score with just one goal in two other matches. Necaxa has scored in three of four, but being on the road here against one of the stingiest defenses in Mexico thus far could make that three out of five.

PLAY #49: [NORWAY TIPPELIGAEN] Valerenga vs. Sandefjord UNDER 3.5 [-129]
Valerenga is the top goal scoring squad in Norway's best league this season with 46 goals in 20 matches. 31 of those have come at home with just 7 conceded in nine matches. Valerenga sports a 7-0-2 mark at home [W-L-D]. They face Sandefjord which sits at the bottom of the league having scored just 13 goals all season with just five of those on the road. In fact, they have gone six straight away from home without a goal. Their tactics on the road are pretty clear cut, defend for your life and hope you don't get crushed. It's worked well in their last five with just five goals allowed on the road. Certainly plenty of risk here with Valerenga having blown up defenses at home in their last four with 21 goals scored and totals annihilating this number in their last three. Still, Sandefjord has shown a knack for working tough on the road, holding the other two top scoring clubs in the league to just three goals in two away matches. When these two met in April, Sandefjord lost narrowly 1-0 at home. Also keeping in mind that Valerenga sold one of their top goal scorers to Germany in the last week. He had tallied 15 of the club's 41 goals this season. They probably have enough talent to get by, but finding goals may be lacking for a bit until they adjust. Gonna try it.

PLAY #50: [CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] Hapoel Tel Aviv vs. Red Bull Salzburg OVER 2.5 [-123]
The Israelis put the bum rush on the Austrians in the 1st leg and take a 3-2 lead onto home turf today. That means, Salzburg has no choice but to attack and look to overturn the deficit. Already showing a shaky defense, those tactics should leave them open defensively where Hapoel Tel Aviv can again take advantage. I'm expecting to see at least three goals today one way or another.

Own goal pretty much butched this one as Tel Aviv wasn't about to risk too much knowing that this 1-0 scoreline would suit them fine to advance. Still time on the clock, but I think this one is going to finish 1-0 unless Salzburg leaves themselves open and it's 1-1 at best.

Yep. Just not my day today. I had Sampdoria-Werder Bremen earmarked first, but was afraid of a 2-0 final. Of course 3-0 there didn't come until the 85th minute. Oh well.
