I think the Dutch will put Uruguay away easily in regulation. What do you guys think. No Suarez. Dutch can just focus in on Forlan and make everyone else beat them. That Uruguay defense is exhausted right now. the road ends here. Its gonna be two Europe sides in the final. This Dutch team just seems one of destiny I think they will score 3-4 goals on Uruguay to be honest.

Netherlands -1 is the play, Uruguay will play too defensive, they've been heroic so far to the semi's, we congratulate them for that but Netherlands just got through Brazil...

I pretty much agree with this, Netherlands have a golden opportunity to get to the finale. Even if Lugano and Godin plays they are not 100% and with no Suarez the only big threat up front are Forlan. That guy is amazing btw.

The early goal lead to a falling house of cards for Argentina. Germany was still very impressive today!

Its a possibility, Spain like to start slow, keep possession and let the opposition chase them around and try to press them until they start to tire around the 60th/70th minute and holes in the defense start opening.
However, there is a view that Spain are better suited to play good teams who like to "play", its like when a team thinks they can play Barcelona at their own game, even if they are good they get killed. If Germany try to play an open game Spain will be pleased, if they play defensive they will be chasing the game and will need to score quite early because towards the end of the game they will be so tired.

Germany beats Australia 4-0, England 4-1 and Argentina 4-0, media pumps up Germany, public believes the hype but lacks a basic understanding of tactics and can't see where Germany beat these teams. Spain apparently under performing even though they are dominating games with 60% possession.
So Germany are obvious favorites right? thats what they want people to think. Germany is a team made up of average players managed by a very good tactician, Spain's only competition was Brazil quality wise. They will easily beat Holland, it might get embarrassing.
Big win there
Spain are playing total football, the Dutch total football masters must be disgusted with how Holland are playing, they have turned their back on their style and footballing philosophy and are trying to win ugly.
I hope total football wins, its better for the game.

I have NEVER seen a team too play excellent all the matches at a World Cup or Euro. Germany was the star until today, when they faced a fantastic midfield from Spain. These tourneys are now won by the team that starts best, but by those who catch their best form close to the end. Spain wasn;t quite a lock, i don;t believe we can talk about locks at this level, but I had no remorse playing them. I knew that their experience will compensate the enthusiasm of young Germany.
The difference was made in the midfield.period.
LE : And I am watching Euro's and World Cups since 1998, so there were many so far, this was the 7th.

Spot on Mihaita, the game was won in the midfield, Germany beat England and Argentina in the midfield, Englands 4-4-2 which never kept its shape and let Ozil drift in the hole unmarked. Argentina were dominated in midfield, had no creativity and couldn't get the ball to the three forwards as they were outnumbered in the middle. Del Bosque made the right change, put 5 in the midfield, rested Torres, they had won the tactical side of the game before it started.

The midfield is harder to observe by those who don;t have experience, but for me or you, it's visible from the moon. The midfield is the most important role in a team, and Spain has the best line in the World by far.
And we're not talking only skills here, but also achievements, which make the difference in close situations ; Xavi and Iniesta - winners of UCL and many spanish trophies; Xabi Alonso - experienced midfielder, played for liverpool many years; Busquets and Pedro - youngsters, future stars fr sure. Busquets has a lot of anticipation for his age, and it is obvious that he was formed by Barcelona.

Only Serbia scored on Germany first and Germany was not able to come back and win that game.
The same happened today.
The only thing that worries me about Spain is that it has so many chances to score and only capitalizes on a few of them.

agreed, but i think the Dutch mid wont give there defence as much cover so chances may be easier to come by and under less pressure and surly Van Bommels red card is comming
