Strange first half, I think Mexico was great and had Argentina rattled early on, hit the crossbar, missed the next chance by a whisker then got fuked by a bad call and then their defense which was always their biggest problem let them down again.

Well sometimes it goes against us, sometimes it goes for us, so we can't complain about the call from a selfish point of view.

Lets hope for a good second half

Doubt it, Slovakia are one of the worst teams in the last 16, Robbens had more impact in the 15 minutes he played than Van Der Vaart had in the three games Slovakia don't have a good manager, I think they will struggle tactically and be outclassed player for player.

Holland still haven't moved up the gears yet, Robben's goal was amazing and he was a real threat. The team was comfortable most of the game, didn't really try to hard and looked in control. However, the back line still wasn't convincing. Let's see if they crank up the gears in the Quarters.

Chile will try to press Brazil high up the pitch and hold back the wingers but this plays into Brazil's game plan. They are one of the best counter attacking teams Chile leave themselves vulnerable at the back, its great to watch but they take big risks. Brazil have a great record against Chile and they really struggle against the strength of Luis Fabiano, aerial balls, set pieces and crosses. Missing Ponce and Medel could be a big problem in this game. However, Chile still pose a thread, especially with Sanches against Bastos, that could be Brazil's weakness.

If I was to lean Over/Under, it would be the Over.

Brazil are controlling the game really well, the defense has been one of the best in the tournament so far, the holding midfielders are doing a great job and unlike many Brazil teams of the past they are very dangerous on set pieces. That corner goal is not your stereotypical goal for them. Also they are showing why they are one of the best counter attacking teams with that second goal.

It turns out that I was on it too. I also had a little bit on the over 2.5. So far in this round the teams want to win so they're out to score. Also if a team is down it also tries to score as it has no other choice. This, of course, makes it more vulnerable defensively and that's another reason for the overs lately.

Maybe you should look into taking that for regular time and trying to take Brazil winning in ET as a back up? Too lazy to check the odds but I would think they are around +800 for that. Just keeping a lookout. I think there is a decent chance that we see Extra Time here.
