I can't believe Ottto's tactics this WC, how could he get his team to sit back when they were going out, he should have at least got them to try.

He could have given Ninis more time, alot of good things being said about him.

This is true.
Almost all the Greeks believe the same thing. Of course he led the Greek National Team to many great victories in his nine years as coach including the European Cup in 2004, but he has made many strange decisions in my opinion (and not only).
For example he has a thing about certain players. There are players he invites to the National Team who are clearly not in form or have not played on their team for even a whole season while at the same time he leaves players out who are clearly in form. Also because of his decisions in the game against S. Korea the Greek team lost and with that loss its hopes for advancing to the next round. He left key players on the bench in that game.

As far as Ninis is concerned you are very well read! In my opinion he is VERY talented and he is a great passer. With him in the lineup I'm sure there would have been a lot more passes to the forwards.

Otto Rehagel resigned today by the way.

I'm on Serbia tonight @ 1.83. I think they can pull off a win against Australia even though Australia is a squad that doesn't give up.

Also I think that Ghana-Germany both teams to score @ 2.00 looks good to me. Germany hasn't proven much to me and Ghana could get a goal in (if they try and don't play like Greece last night). Maybe even Ghana +1 @ 2.175.

I'm a little disappointed today as I had Brazil ML, but got some back with the over in the Spain game.

I like Uruguay and USA tomorrow.
The Americans don't give up, they are fast and they deserve a clean and decisive win.
As for Uruguay I think they just have the better team.

What about you guys?

You have to question Tabares tactics in that game, they looked like they could score at will against the Korean defense but decided to sit right back after the second goal and got rightfully punished. S.Korea had two holding midfielders marking Forlan, Uruguay had a key advantage in the center of the park which they didn't use. Korea's weak points are their defense, strengths are the midfield and strikers, by sitting back and not even attempting to counter them they just played into the Koreans hands.

Have to say, it was a very good performance by the Koreans! they went out with their head held high and were so close to getting something more from the game with the penalty decision not given and that last minute miss. They will keep growing in the world of football.

However, Uruguay when going forward they look so dangerous! I just hope they stop sitting back so deep after scoring, its not the best method of defense and they allowed for the whole Korean team to attack them.

Spectacular goal by Suarez though! what a talent.

Totally agreed. This round is not the same as Group plays where you try to impress and score of pts. Most favs will try to sit on the lead as Uruguay did today at beginning of the 2H when NoK had the ball most of the time until they tied the game.
