The Celtics are my teams (76ers) arch rivals. Unfortunately, they haven't been good enough to rival anything for years. I hear ya, I could never change the American teams I root for.. I have too many years invested in them
I won't be changing with the Spurs either. "Tottenham till I die" as they say. If I was going to change, it would have been last year. First year I support them, they get off to their worst start in a 100 years
I'm planning a trip to go to WHL before they build the new stadium. It will be my first match other than the MLS.. I'm locked in now.
I have absolutely no idea why the NFL is called football. All I can think of is... when it started, there wasn't as much throwing of the ball. So, most games were about running and kicking field goals. Still, I'm not even sure that makes sense
I couldn't agree more though, it seems really silly now that I watch both. It never even crossed my mind before I started watching real football though. American football is way too popular here though, it's never gonna change now. I recently bought a shirt with a football/soccer ball on it... it has the word football under it.. I'm doing my part

Both teams also had some of the best players in league history at the same time. 60's, Celtics - Bill Russell, 76ers - Wilt Chamberlain.. 80's, Celtics - Larry Bird 76ers - Dr. J. the 76ers and Celtics play each other more often because they are in the same conference and the cities are much closer. When the 76ers were good, it was probably the second biggest rivalry in the league. One of my teams players also had the nickname "the boston strangler" because of his performances against the Celtics.
) fiorentina 2-1, it's a half win, but still better than nothing
