#676Reading - Liverpool
over 2.5 @ 1.82 (5dimes)
As someone from the soccer forum said a few days ago, Liverpool is gold in the next 4-5 matches. I totally agree with this statement, but the FA Cup, remains the "competitions of upsets", as I've said in the previous analysis. Liverpool plays against the 20th team from Cheampionship Division (the second league from England), and an odd of 1.50 looks very tempting, looks like a match from which you can gain a big payout. i don't say Liverpool is going to fail winning tomorrow, but i prefer to stay away from the moneyline bet iat this match, also from the handicapping betting. However, I'm not staying away from the total goals bet, I really find big value in this over 2.5.
Liverpool, lately, started to save their miserable season, winning important matches, especially their last one, against Aston Villa, 1-0, Fernando "el nino" Torres scoring in the injury times of the second half. Liverpool has chances to save their season by finishing 4th, as the first 3 places look untouchable for the moment (but never say never). Currently, Liverpool is 7th, 4 points behing Tottenham Hotspurs, the team from the 4th place, currently, and will soon play a crucial match, on Anfield Road, against them. Obviously, Rafa Benitez will rest some players for this match (it is something that is done always by big teams in these first Cup rounds, and this is only the 3rd round). Liverpool is a very nice team to watch for a neutral fan, as they both score and allow many goals, averaging 3.1 goals/match (scored and conceaded). Reading is not far from this number, they average 2.7 goals/match.
Playing home, Readng will be seriously pushed from behind by their fans, and they don't want to let them down, especially after having a very poor season so far. Very often, when lower division clubs play, in the cup, against huge names, they give more than 100% and this match has all the chances to respect this rule.
The statistics, altough are not someting to strictly follow in soccer, are on my bet's side : between Liverpool and Reading, so far, were 6 matches, and 5 of them finished over 2.5 so I'll say it again, I find big value in betting the over in this clash.Soccer record (2010) : 244-160-24

#677Aston Villa - Blackburn Rovers
Aston Villa -0.75 @ 1.75 (5dimes)
WON
Big day in English soccer today, as the Premiership teams enter the FA Cup. A good match in my opinion is one between two major Premiership clubs, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers. If this match was played in the Premiership, the odds would be much smaller for Aston Villa, but the FA Cup, as many internal Cups are well known for the big number of upsets that happen every year.
Aston Villa was, one week ago, the nice surprise of the seasson : without major investments in player transfers, Villa were 4th, leaving big teams of Premiership behind ( Man City, Liverpoo). But, after losing 3-0 on Emirates Stadium, against Arsenal, Aston Villa have lost another important match, on Villa Park, against Liverpool, 0-1. Therefore, they are only 6th right now, this place being not something to desire, because Aston Villa cannot be sure that they catch even the Europa League (the second club's competition in Europe, after uefa Champions League). So, the FA Cup is holly for Villa, they cannot afford to deny a trophy like this. Moreover, the tradition and history carried by this trophy, which is the first competition in soccer, ever, is very important for any english team, including Villa.
In the last years, Aston Villa defeated Blackburn Rovers 7 times in the last 10 matches. It will also be very interesting because, altough these two clubs have played 110 times in between, this will be the first match played in FA Cup, ever. Aston Villa is my big play in this match.Soccer record (2010) : 244-160-24

#686West Ham United - Arsenal
Arsenal -0.75 @ 1.86 (5dimes)
Arsenal had a fantastic end of the year, and there are all the chances in the world that they will start in the same way this one. The Gunners re-entered the championship race, taking advantage of Chelsea's and Man Utd's wrong steps and winning most of their last matches in Premiership, including 2 tough ones, against big teams : 2-1 on Anfield, with Liverpool, and 3-0 with Aston Villa, home, on Emirates Stadium. West Ham United, on the other hand, is in a delicate situation, as they are very close to the relegation zone : they are 17th, and jhave 18 points after 20 matches, and Bolton is 18th, also have 18 points, but 2 matches less. West Ham ended 2009 losing 2-0 in a London derby, against Tottenham Hotspurs, and they start 2010 playing another local derby.
Arsenal impressed lately, as I;ve said, winning clearly all their matches in the last period. Their last match was an obvious 4-1 victory away, against portsmouth, on the 30th of December 2009. Altough the FA Cup is a total different competition than the championship, I really don't see West Ham producing an upset here. First of all, the Cup should be their last thing to concern about, so, even if Arsenal will use many reserves (altough its not sure this will happen), West Ham has all the reasons to do the same, as resting regular players could prove to be extremly useful in the long run. Arsenal, furthermore, is a team eagger to win trophies, which is the whole purpose of playing this wonderful sport. And even if Arsenal impressed many people around the world in the last 3-4 years, their trophy room is unchanged since 2005, when they won the Premiership and the FA Cup, at the end of the 2004-2005 season. Talented and valuable players, like Fabregas, Diaby or Arshavin might be kept at club only if really big performance is made, so Arsenal has all the reasons in the universe to treat this competition with respect and to try winning it.Soccer record (2010) : 244-160-24

#687Osasuna - Real Madrid
real madrid -1.00 @ 1.86 (pinnacle )/ over 2.75 @ 1.93 (pinnacle)
Yesterday, Real Madrid's archrival, Barcelona, has lost two precious points, drawing 1-1, at home, with Villareal in a very tense match. Today, Real Madrid, aka "the superstars", have the chance to get closer to Barcelona, which is currently 3 points away from them. Actually, Real Madrid and Barcelona may share the 1st place after this match, as, if Real Madrid wins, they will have the same number of points as the catalans.
After losing to Barcelona, in "el clasico", on Camp Nou, Barcelona's home arena, Real Madrid won 3 matches in a row, proving that the fight for the championship is far from over, and that they did't say their last words at all. Ever since, Real Madrid has done 3 great matches, all very high scoring ones. First, Real Madrid won 4-2 at home against Almeria, then, they've won 3-2 on a very difficult arena, Mestalla, against Valencia, a big spanish football force. In the last match of 2009, Real Madrid demolated Real Zaragoza, winning with a stunning 6-0.
Barcelona looks much weaker than a few months ago, when they dominated with big authority the european football.First, they look to struggle for most of the victories, and have difficulties in scoring goals. For example, last year, Barcelona produced around 80% overs in their matches, now they have problems scoring more than 1 sometimes (like against espanyol, 1-0, or recently, yesterday, against Villareal, 1-1).
Real Madrid will have their super-players available for tomorrow, and a team like Osasuna shouldn't be an obstacle hard to pass by Real Madrid. Real needs this victory a lot, and they will surely get it. Also, I'm very confident that their offensive line will do it's job and will score a lot.Soccer record (2010) : 244-160-24

Unirea Urziceni has a new coach, after Dan petrescu left the club for Kuban Krasnodar (russia, 2nd league). His name is Ronny Levy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronny_Levy
