Carrie 1976 was an all-time classic horror film...to this day I still get goosebumps listening to that creepy, eerie, organ music score as she returns from the prom to her candlelit home!...

    Hey Manny!

    No I don't remember.........

Only thing I remember is when they had a monkeys head poking through the center of table then they cut and removed it's skull then cut the brain out then carved it in equal pieces and ate it!!!!!......Lol............

I'll have to give that a watch.. Thx for posting it.........

Now that I really think about it...Fire in the Sky was definitely the scariest movie for me when I was a kid. I seriously thought I was gonna get zapped up and probed by aliens right after walking out of the theater. The movies that claim to be based on "true events" always kick up the scary factor a few notches. Kathy Bates kind of freaked me out in Misery too haha.

Naturally when you're 40 years old now... you're like... I was scared of that garbage?

lol good stuff. One my proudest moments was when I flipped the breaker at a big 1999 NYE party and for about 30 seconds I had people thinking Y2K was real.

The Shining: when i was maybe 7 or 8, first "scary" movie I watched.

Twister: saw this when I was about 12, scary to me as I experienced a tornado when I was 5...still have reoccurring dreams 27 years later, (I still fast forward the intro where the father gets sucked up)

Saving Private Ryan: watched this alone in my room late night when I got my first dvd player when I was maybe 13, opened my eyes to how fkd up war can be.

as a kid, no movie scared me....

as an adult, this still photo scared the absolute shit out of me:

that scary shit generally stands alone, although the thought of "what if I had been born this poor, sorry, pathetic, mardi-gra'ing my flappy b-cup " fukstick is also something that should send a chill down everyone's spine....

what if you had been born this guy:

holy shit that is a scary thought!!!!!!!!!!!

Childs Play - Had to go outside and get my dad when I was done watching it. Scared the shit out of me walking along the bushes in the dark.

Watchers - Michael Ironside creeped me out in it. Watched it too young. Nothing frightening about it, but still think it's a decent movie. Like the mom and girlfriend.

Children of the Corn - f that movie.

I'm in the same boat with most of you; poltergeist and Nightmare on Elm Street freaked me out when I was a kid.

One I haven't seen mentioned is Prince of Darkness. The dream sequence in that movie..... had trouble sleeping for a week after seeing that.

For me it was one of the Friday the 13th's I forget which one. I was a kid and looking for my brother and sister who had went in before me, I had purchased a huge soda, I couldnt find them so I ended up sitting amongst strangers, I was shaking during the entire movie.
