Bigger is better for SBR. John views SBR and more specifically SBRmarketing differently than you and even I do, NoCo. I bust Johns balls a bit here and there, mainly for fun, but he's running a business and a quality one at that. And when you're in the marketing business, bigger is always better. You think the books paying john to be affiliates care if it's MDC and/or MF'er posting here? They'll take 20 squares over 2 sharps any day.

NC, lets forget about everything you think SBR is and get to what it really is. It's a business for John to make money. In the process of this, he provides a medium for like minded individuals to exchange ideas, learn about sportsbooks, gambling and discuss sports in general. That's it.

Now carefully follow the money trail and ask yourself who pays SBR's bills and why? Who- sportsbooks by advertising through SBRmarketing John. You by paying to be pro. You by being pro and playing at affiliate books, win or lose, John gets a piece. So, on to the Why- the most important part. Easy, it's exposure. Marketing 101. AKA quantity or "numbers". Books get great exposure here to a lot of square degens constantly reloading and according to John this site is growing 30% annually. So it's a win-win.

NoCo, lets do an experiment. Call up Tony @ 5d and tell him the quality of posters here at SBR is lacking. Tell him Cougar Bait left with some along with others and the site isn't as good as it used to be. And then wait and see how long before you see that 5dimes banner disappear from the top of the screen. I'll give you a tip, don't hold your breath. These books are paying good money to advertise here for a good reason.

Coug is a very loyal guy. I think more than anything it's hard to be loyal to two forums that are basically in competition with one another. I realize that's not totally the case with us & GL...but you know what I mean.

I have no real issue with GL. It just makes for a fun rivalry. I even kinda like bi-Archie if you want me to be completely honest.

Coug is a sensitive guy. I am as well, just at different type of things. I know he invests a ton o time here and at GL, so I'm well aware that you sometimes wonder exactly what the fukk you're getting out of that investment.

That site is awful. Calling it a rivalry is like saying the hammer and the nail is a rivalry as well.
