#150what hospital in vegas do you perform your surgeries? Seems legit guys. Huge sample size here and the volume posted here surely can overcome variance and stay 1 level above standard deviation...

#160LOL. Definitely gonna keep my eye on this thread because I do not want to miss when this guy goes down in flames. Feel kinda bad for these newbies who actually seem to believe they've stumbled onto a football genius, but it is what it is. Just don't go betting your entire bankroll one one of his picks, then redepositing and doubling up on the next one because "he cant possibly lose 2 in a row." It has happened here many, many times.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?Comment -

#170Brainsurgeon - here's a few questions to determine whether you truly were a physician. I'm certainly not nearly as knowledgeable as a brain surgeon, as I work in primary care. Here's a simple case:
Let's say you have a 60 year old patient, no significant medical history, comes in complaining of new onset headaches.
Do you treat for migraine and send them on their way?
If not, what's your workup and differential diagnosis?
Or how about this neurosurgery situation: 40 yo patient fell off a ladder, appears somewhat anxious. She has lacerations on her skull. CT Head shows skull fractures. You probe the skull laceration with your finger, and you are able to feel the skull fracture. Do you simply suture her skull lacerations up? Or does she require more extensive treatment?
Best of luck with your picks! I'll start tailing if I continue to see success.Comment -

#171Whenever I post a pick early, theirs a reason for it. I knew that line was gonna move tremendously cause the giants had serious injuries. Whoever is tailing, jump on it when I post it. Don't wait. If you didn't get in on it, don't worry, we'll get em on sundayComment -

Haha, so you are asking these questions to determine if he was a doctor or not? I think the answers to those questions might determine whether or not he was a good doctor- why not just ask him to pm you his NPI number. I think that would settle it =). Sorry I couldnt help but chime in due to the silliness haha (im a practice manager in pa). either way, i hope a football discussion takes place here, rather than if hes really a brain surgeon or not....
does anybody feel like there's value on +3 giants? my book is offering it and, at best, I think a two team tease to 10 with another game spread or total might be applicable here.. BOL everybody.Comment -

#175i dont blame briedward one bit. saying you are a surgeon is serious business on here. especially when you say you quit doing surgery because you were making more money laying action. im pretty sure surgeons can find time to do both if they so please.Comment
