Cowboys win. No such thing as a lock! I agree the the "too much bravado statement". I would rather be humble. I believe that the Patriots are going to massacre the Titans tomorrow. I grabbed NE +5, HOU -3, and DET +3 in a 10 point teaser. I feel I have a very good chance of winning that bet, but I would not tell anyone it is a lock.

I am not into bashing people. I have an open mind and I try to learn from everyone I can. I examine chasing strategies even though the mathematicians claim it is statistically impossible for them to work long term. I am investigating the sharp "grind it out" approach but I'm not sure if I can maintain even a 52% average for the spread system is designed to keep things 50/50. I am always looking for new ideas and strategies.

If you can really pick 80% that is amazing. If you can average 56% that still makes money. But making such bold claims and then falling short sucks. I would love to see you succeed, but you should let your picks speak for themselves. It's okay to set a goal and miss, but not to calim you are better then everyone on the site and then embarrass yourself.

The best gamblers in the world don't hit the % you claim. Furthermore the best/biggest gamblers in the world nail the openers in NFL, then add on when the betting limit increases later in the week if they still perceive value. You sure you didn't get a better number than Den-2? Do you plan using the closing numbers to hit your claimed %?
