From what I've seen tonight, it is pretty possible that the Pirates don't finish the year over .500. Its going to be close. If I had to guess, I'd guess 83-79.

By the way, Price is a bad example. He pitched against a really good young pitcher that has as good a stuff as anyone when he is on.

I think you see the point. Technically speaking, any team's best pitcher is their ace.

For instance... Shark for the Cubs is now an ace with Garza on the DL and Dempster/Maholm traded. It technically makes him an ace, but to refer to AJ Burnett as an ace in the same sense as David Price is misleading.
