Not sure... living in the past is never good. You'll never win another one. That is a frustrating thought, isn't it? To know you will die and be decomposed before the Pirates ever win another world series ring.

If you can't see the difference between going back more than a couple decades to find success and pointing out RECENT success, then I don't know how to help you. Sure, they're all in the past. I guess technically, the only time one can celebrate as a fan is the split second you win a WS... b/c anything after that is the past, since one second and 3 decades is all the same in YOUR book...

People talk about the WS drought too much. I'm 25... they haven't won a WS in my lifetime, that is all I care about. But since I've been a fan, the Pirates have never been anything but downright pathetic.
