from initial angle looks like, when raymond intentionally slashed him, that when raymond jerked his stick up the blade caught him at the top of his chest, ant the top of the blade caught the bottom of the right side of his chin. This area of body and point of contact is not shown in second replay, which shows clip from left/behind. need a better angle. ference not known for faking calls. if he did fake it, its a career first. sedins fake it every game.

dwight the camera angle shows it from behind on the left side. Marchand was tripped. no question to that one in my mind. with ference, blade of stick misses him yes. shaft of stick hits him though. look at photo in next post.

hey dwight just pulled up the clip from versus. the blade missed ference's face yes. thats why commentator said didnt hit. however during the slash, the shaft caught bottom of ference's face. here's a picture to illustrate. bit blurry but you can clearly see shaft hitting ference's chin.

stick blurry. i traced the stick with paintbrush tool to prove that shaft angled right to head. your video shows a camera angle from the back of his head and tries to make judgement. how can you see it by looking at back of head? blade missed him. but shaft appeard to get him. Even if you are unconvinced, Ference never dives. has no history of faking calls. Burrows lapierre kessler and Sedins all have lengthy diving histories. they dive every play every game.

Even if Van does somehow pull this game outta their asses, they don't deserve to win.

If they seriously can't take advantage of the Kings overly aggressive powerplay they lose this series.

It doesn't take a genius to realize that if you have 5 guys, they have 4, and they send 3 of their 4 to aggressively pursue the puck, you PASS and get a 2 on 1 on the other side.

Van is just being such pussys right now, not going hard after pucks and being bitches in general.

As a fan of Canadian hockey this series has been painful to watch so far. Go Ottawa Go I guess..
