Made the bashs in Vegas they were great but no way I was going to CR with the way I talked to the online poker sites

didnt want any late night calls to go feed the sharks

i have been in vegas dozens of times when it's well over 100 and the only time i can remember a problem was when i was drunk and climbed up a giant inflatable slide at mgm grand's amusement park (remember that?) barefoot.
i was wearing sandals with no socks, took the sandals off and ran up that mf'er screaming the whole way. bottoms of my feet were literally black.

All coming next week. I wanted respond to those who have been asking about the dates.

Some notes I am sure of; The airfare reimbursement for the few that still qualify is being discontinued forever more. A great deal while it lasted.

All posters are invited with some stipulations but only SBR Pro's can play in the free $5,000 poker tourney(no non pros and no guests). Hotel rooms for two nights and all the booze and food you can slam are on SBR.

that $300 might sway some people, it was some nice walking around money or free airfare for those of us that don't use frequent flier miles

I've been to the Bash twice (2009 & 2010). I came in second in 2009 and won in 2010.
Are you referring to the guy who kept stalling hoping to make it to the final table? Everyone was getting irritated including the guys running the tournament. He said he came to Vegas without a dime in his pocket.

yeah and he made it too right? i think he was a friend of a poster, most people didn't think he was 21. i remember him dancing right up next to the singing twins (they were really cute) and i thought he was going to have a heart attack from excitement

then i remember talking to illini at the bar and he said the guy was being an ass the whole tournament, i wasn't at or near his table.

maybe i won't drink as much this time and actually play better poker, but that is highly unlikely

I am not upset at any air fare being included. I think it would be great like we did last time to get a discounted rate if we stay later. I still plan to be a pro by March Madness still because of other reasons. I hope that there will be more things included like a horse racing tournament maybe this time. I think last time I had such a blast I wouldn't miss it for anything. I still plan to go without a doubt here unless something really bad happens to me.

I just found out that the airfare to there right now is right around $400. That is a pretty good deal with Southwest Airlines. Guys start checking out the airfares to get there and if you get in early you will get a good deal more than likely.

Airfare to Vegas is cheap from just about everywhere, assuming youre in the US or Canada. Jet Blue has about 5000 flights a day into that dump.

Free hotel for two nights more than makes up for that. Most forums give discounted rates (which arent that discounted), and the 'free' poker tournaments always required 20 bux or so up front for the dealers. LOL I miss the Shrink sometimes.

If it is that bad have JJ rent a van and drive from New jersey and pick people up all the way out. Imagine that video....

from milwaukee or chicago on southwest it's $145 each way if you wait and come back monday

those prices fluctuate quite a bit, but you should be able to go from just about anywhere for around $300 round trip
