Our country perfectly run? I've heard it all now. There are more reasons to travel abroad than to see historical places. Most of the most beautiful places in the world are outside the US. That's not to say that there are beautiful places in the US; there are. But the fact of the matter is that we make up a very small part of the world geographically. In addition to seeing beautiful landscapes, it is fun to interact with different people and experience different cultures. It opens up your mind and forces you to think, so I see why you wouldn't be interested. Finding local foods that you would have a tough time finding in the US are great too. Making friends all over the world with varying opinions and personalities is wonderful. Many of my best friends live outside the US and I'm glad to have expanded my horizons beyond my own backyard or I wouldn't have ever known them. There's a whole world out there. And even if you come back and think the US is the best place, you'll find certain things you like about other places that you can implement into your daily life. That's not to mention the numerous business opportunities you can find both in other countries and in your own country after traveling abroad. I'm in the process of starting a business in New Zealand which I'm pretty excited about. It's sad that you are so narrow-minded but at the very least I'm glad you aren't traveling abroad as you would only do further harm to the reputation of Americans.

Alrighty then, well glad that your New Zealand lemonade stand is taking off but I'm pretty happy with the good ol' US of A. I'm sure there are other countries which are fine to live in, prolly have some nice whore houses and weed shops, but I'm pretty convinced I live in the best country on earth and am very proud, happy and lucky to be a US citizen

I'm pretty convinced I am the smartest person in my apartment. Perhaps if I never leave my apartment I can convince myself that I am the smartest person in the entire world.

You are right you are damn lucky (as am I) to be a US citizen. I just thinking you are wasting I huge part of that opportunity.

Nobody has been truthful here ... I bet 95% of you googled most of the questions.

It's basic knowledge for Americans. Not sure if you are American or Costa Rican, but if you are American the questions are almost all things you should know.
