Let me tell you guys a story which is a true reflection of most of the people on this board including "Jeff" as well as most of the people in society...

I hung out with a group of college graduates, most of which had fluff degrees (business, education, etc.)... They would look at my 9-11 perspective as something I got from the internet and since it's from the internet it can't be true because, as they said, you can't believe everything you see on the internet...

I started a debate on purpose about when planes were invented and if they were used in WWI... I disagree with everyone on purpose because I wanted them to prove it... Where do you think they all went when I asked for PROOF..? DAMN RIGHT "GOOGLE"... and they chose the first f*ckin' site which hardly looked professional...

You have no idea how many times that happens to me from many angles... A friend came into town to visit and we went out and had a few beers and began debating about differant topics... He made a comment that I should read books instead of the internet... Earlier he made a comment about how he knows a lot about online porn (god only knows why he spends so much time on that) and mentioned that most guys in porn are gay.... I asked him where he got all of his information... Well where do you think he gets all his info. about that in hundreds of books offline or on the internet..?

For what its worth, the reason I think there was no conspiracy on 9/11 is because of the reaction on Bush's face after it happened. He acted like he was out his depth and wholly unqualified to be in such a position, I'm sure if he knew it was coming he could have put in an Oscar winning performance but he didn't, he reacted like we all did, stunned.

Ok, Im out after I make this point. I ask the people that read this to go and look at the example given. I was told 9/11 was covered up by the government so asked the above question in reply to that answer. How would a converstaion/debate proceed if you didn't ask a question to a given answer, you learn that in 5th grade. The one thing I've discovered about internet forums are people that claim they're tough normally aren't and people that claim they know everything normally don't. It's refreshing to see there is no evidence to suggest my observations are wrong.

I pass through the WTC site on my way to work, traveling from New York to Newark. While I am constantly reminded of the tragedies that took place there I am also shown the amazing ability of America, and perhaps more importantly Humanity, to rebuild and grow.

Without adding my personal opinion on the preceding posts, I think it is important to note that this spirited back and forth is heartening evidence of our ability to to change and grow.
