well there is an offical request to air lift the 2,000 Georgian soldiers in iraq home by US. This would basically set which side we are on.

I believe Russia was doing things that lead up to this assault.

Honestly, I don't know why we are afraid of Russia...They know going to nukes is like suicide. They also know they can't win...as much as they talk they also know they don't want to fight us.

They both got their asses kicked. Same will happen to the US if they mess with Russia. They have more advanced weaponry than the US has. They shot down U2 planes from 90,000 ft up in the air. Suicide if the US attacks Russia. It will be the biggest recession than the depression. Everyone between 18-60 will get drafted to fight a war with Russia. They kicked our ass in Korea and Vietnam. They will do it again.

I don't know how advanced they are now, ever since the Soviet Union collasped all i've heard is about nuclear subs rusting away, top military people sneaking out nuclear weapons and arms and documents in exchange for cash.
I know that picture i seen in the paper today of Russian tanks lined up outside Georgia's border, looked like ancient run-down tanks to me.

I don't want us to get involved, but i'm sure we will, the US has to be the police for the whole world it seems.

I think our military is stretched thin as it is. They would have to reduce troop strength somewhere and that doesn't seem to be something that will be done very soon.

You have the U.S army confused! They are by far the strongest and every army knows that! The Marines, Navy, Army, Air Force and all will be on Russia ass! We by far have the strongest of them all!

trust me the U.S army know exactly what the Russian army has! Watch Bush will tell them to stop or put they weapons up and they will do so! And if they dont they will have to suffer the consequences

How come they didn't stop today? Bush talked to Putin last night. Do you think Putin gives a fcuk about Bush that's leaving office in 4 months? He can overun Georgia army in two days if he wants to.
