Oh they're definitely banned. Once someone is caught scamming, they're gone as are any new accounts they attempt to make. That's why my email inbox gets flooded every day with people calling me every name in the book

As for a poster having to create a new account, that's not always the case.

With your suggestion to publicly name and shame, I'm all for that as I think these guys should be exposed for who they are. That way if they're using the same posting name(s) at other forums, they can be hounded there as well. But it's SBR's policy to not publicly comment on poster's accounts except in rare circumstances so that would be something you'd have to propose to Admin.

OK, so is there no way to just list the banned posters so there is no uncertainty that they will be back? As I understand it, SBR sometimes just puts a person on a timeout and then they comeback. Is that what happenned to 4uk4life?

I'm one of the non-pros that played legitimately from time to time in the ring games. I was quite the donator. Perhaps a better policy to prevent fraud while still maintaining traffic at the tables would be to take away the ability to transfer SBR points from non-pros. Just a thought. Peace.

I like what someone said about taking away the transfer ability of non-pros. I think that would have fixed a lot instead of the action taken on the ring games.

i'm in for the "take away the transfer ability of non-pros" but please keep the ring game...i used to love the points for ring games, but since no more ring games, i threw them to the rigged casino in 2 minutes, and used to log on SBR 30 times a day, but now SBR got nothing left for me beside "BS"

I think SBR should just greatly reduce (i.e. significantly less than the 25000 it is now) the amount of points that Non-Pros can transfer when/if they turn pro.

For understandable reasons, they don't want non-Pros making purchases. The point of being a non-Pro is to discuss plays, and then hopefully realize how cool the Pro program is and sign up for it.

Offer some promos and the tables will fill up again. They were busy as hell during the IPAD giveaway. Not saying anything that large, but even 100 point bonuses for quads, etc. would likely generate more action/players.

You can still play ring games as a Non-Pro, but can only buy-in with your tournament points.

Really? Everytime Ive looked past couple days the most ive seen is like 2 tables going with a max of 4 people playing at each. I cashed in a tourney yesterday but apparently it was straight points and not bonus points so I still couldn't play.
