Taxoman- How did Dozer do a go job? Another title for the thread could be" Dozer ensnares BetOnStars". The player fraudulantly turned a $50 free account into $2500. Then when he finally gets caught past posting Dozer forces the book to donate $2500.
BetOnStars.com ensnared me !!!

#72marcIts a new book, they gave the guy a free $50 account. And he used that account to screw them. He sees nothing worng with it. And maybe its a cultuaral thing. Maybe he views betting as totally adversarial, and you llook fo any advantage you can get. BEcause he openely admits to do this on a regular basis. In my mind he tried to steal 4k from the book. He got caught, so I see nothing wrong with taking the $2500 in his account.Comment -

Ive been following this in another forum and have become a bit of a groupy to be honest!! Its like Judge Judy now isn't it?
Respect for his tenacity ... I tell you, the day he opened his account with Betonstars they were in trouble. The guy is every bookies worst nightmare.
But, I wish betonstars (thats the bookie not the OP) would come out and say they made a stupid mistake and theirpolicy is always this ... It just leaves a big open hole for the two sides to end up squabbling about.Comment -

#74Hi,
I'm from betonstars.com. I would just like to post here that, me and the company really appreciate all your comments. We are really happy that in this forum there are objective people and not like in many other forums where the main theme is bash the sportsbook.
At the same time I would like to say two things.
First thing it was not one bad line with a $20 bet. It was a 7 teams parlay to win more than $4000 and all the 7 games were over with official score, that is why we considered it as cheating and scamming. Many other players that took one bet got their account reopened, no matter the balance, after they prove us that it was a mistake. Yes it was our fault to post up the game time wrong, we are all humans and we can all make a mistakes considering the amount of soccer selections and props we have.
Second thing we would like to make clear that we were the ones that offered to donate the money to the red cross in show of good faith to Mr. Dozer.
Mr. Dozer at no point forced us to make any donation, we decided to do it just to prove to the skeptical ones that we have no problems with pay outs and we honor all honest winners.Comment -

BIg Goon:" Mr Snare is here to collect his money Fat Tony".
Fat Tony: "Yeah, send da prick in."
Mr Snare: "Hello Mr Fat sir, I like money if you please."
Fat Tony: "yeah fo sure, Hey Rocko take Mr. Snare out back and give em his money".
Big Goon: "yeah sure boss wit interest too!"
........Mr Snare and The Goon head out the back door to a dimly lit alley.
Head Nurse at Our Lady of Charity Medical Center: "there there Mr Snare youve been out for 4 days evrything is gonna be ok"
Mr Snare: Where me left hand Ms Lady Person?'
Head Nurse: Oh Im sorry Mr Snare we tried to get it back but some hungry Mutt ran off with, but look on the bright side we were able to reattach your weener.Comment -

#84It's joke ! BetOnStars agreed with me that they would send the donate funds under my name, but now they are who receive thanks ! It's artful ! They make up their face by donating by their name, not mine and by the fund they stole me.
OK,I cheated the soccer lines with $20,but it doesn't mean that over $4000 I got from $50 free is the result of cheating.Don't deduce stupidly like that ! Just check all bets I placed from day 1,you won't see nothing,I placed bets fairly and won.And I only made mistake on Sunday Sept 11st.
BetOnStars always advoid answering about the most important thing : what is their responsible ? They made wrong line and stole all of my money from this mistake ! And please note this is the CAUSE of all problem ! But they only smile and after then deceiving everyone by Red Cross Funds donation to end this problem soon and make up their face only.
However, they will lose more than I lost,I sure that.
Their prestige has been influenced, even they haven't it ! And all smart bettors never choose the book like them to give money.
Please notice this problem to everyone you see and advise them STAY AWAY from this book if they don't want lose all winnings because of the fault that made from SCAM BOOK !Comment -

#85Mr Duyen,
When did we say that we would send the money under your name?? I don't know who you talked to!! But as far as I know you are not receiving once cent from us and not one penny that we pay will ever get to you.
We made it clear several times now that we have no problem paying any honest player like we have done and will always do. If we allow one cheater in our book we'll have hundreds following him...
By the way you have only given us good publicity, since everybody has agreed that the only thief here is you!! Learn not to cheat..
What you dare to call your money has been sent to a good cause and I hope that somebody that needs it and not a thief receives it!!!
Best of luck cheating other books... I hope wagerweb and the rest of the sportsbook you have cheated read this and close your account ASAP!!!!Comment -

This is a rough industry... There are hundreds of books that will scam gamblers and this is what has caused gamblers to become so paranoid. At the same time there are thousands of players that will try to scam sportsbooks and that is why all of us on the other side have to post the stupidest rules just to cover our backs.Last edited by jay88; 09-14-05, 08:03 PM.Comment -

The book is not out of line as the player didn't deposit a nickel in the book. That is the key to me, I don't think the book could have taken funds deposited, but funds earned on a free account is a different story to me. The book put there best foot forward with the free account. If you expect books to operate with integrity, we owe them the same.Comment -

#93Mr Duyen,
I would never post more of your personal information that you have already made public by yourself... At no point I will never arm against anybodies safety, that would be completely rude and out of place, this is business and we'll never take this on a personal metter on anybody. I officially apologize I didn't specify and used the wrong words.
One thing that I would do is to make sure that every sportsbook where you have an account at, will know that you are not a legit player.
And please all of you that have been in the industry for as long as me or maybe even more explain to Mr Duyen that no sportsbook will allow him to fu*k around with the bonus...Comment -

#100Jay,
I understand you frustration and believe your book has sufficiently handled the situation. I don't think you need to go on the attack in this forum. Seems you are sufficiently defended here and going on the attack is exactly what this loser wants you to do. Maintain the high road...I understand that is difficult when a player is attempting to damage your book, but it may be best to let this one go, at least here...I think the resolution has been accepted by the members of this forumComment -

Please note once again, you made wrong line and this is the cause of all problem.I don't use solfware or others similiar to cheat you.In other meaning, you made a chance and I was defensive, not offensive !
Besides, could you explain why you decided closing my account after re-opening on Sunday night by the reason that occured before. What did you (your company) think at that time ?Comment -

#102Is there anyway to shut this guy off. He continues to not understand the difference between and honest mistake a fraudelent activity. No less than 15 members have tried to explain this to him very slowly, but he is just never going to get it. I continue to say the fact that he has admitted to doing this in several other books on several other occasions takes the cake for me. I think this is getting to the point where this guy needs to be turned off. I know Jay got a little out of control, but it is hard to blame him as this idiot is everywhere trying to damage the book. Seems the issue has been resolved to Bill's and the member's satisfaction, and no new information is forthcoming.Comment -

#105SBR: Why are you hiding this thread? I know of some scam sites that move threads that aren't warranted but I thought you guys were better than that.
Someone said that Pinnacle doesn't make these mistakes. Pinnacle does make these mistakes on occasion. In the AFL lines are very volatile and can move 7 to 8 from openers to 1 hour after openers.
I hit openers in the AFL. If the line happens to move 5 or more points I will buy back and I do it on 5 or 6 games a week including both totals and sides.
Limits are 3 dimes on openers. I once played a team for the limit. Two hours later the line had moved 6 points so I bought back for 3 dimes. Later I received an email from Pinny saying that the opening line was bad and they are cancelling my first bet.Comment
