No coin just hammer stl and be happy. Line movement doesn't always win. The game has to be played on the field.

#72Changed up the line up tonight.
Morgan is leading off.
followed by Kotsay
Braun
Fielder
weeks
hairston
yuni b
kottrass
wolf
i still don't understand this personal catcher bull shit why wolf has to have kottrass as his catcher. you would think wolf would just work with lucroy to get better for the better of the team. but oh well.
come on brewers lets get some runs tonight!!!!
even though i wish you would bat betancourt 5th right now with the way he has been swinging and weeks 7th. i mean we are getting nothing from weeks in that 5th spot at all.Comment -

#75I highly doubt the public will be on the Brewers any more than the Cardinals. Plus, it went from +122 to +127 at Pinny within the first 10 minutes of the opening line.Originally posted by t-wizzleRight and 5 of those cents have been during Joe Public's time of the day. No coin, the brewers are going to get action before the first pitch. I say it closes at -135/+125.
Again, I'm not saying Milwaukee's a bad play, but the line seems about right to me -- if not favoring the Cardinals -- and it's moved in StL's direction so far.Comment -

#76I have no interest in backing either side. Both pitchers are wildly unpredictable and this is a huge game. Good luck with your play; there's nothing wrong with it, I just find it ironic you're ignoring line movement all of the sudden.Originally posted by lakerboyNo coin just hammer stl and be happy. #77so make a play based on the matchups. the books are not in it to find a side. they don't have any idea who's going to win.Originally posted by No coincidencesI highly doubt the public will be on the Brewers any more than the Cardinals. #80I'd like to, but I don't see a definite advantage either way. That's just me. If I had to play something, of course I'd take Milwaukee because they're + money and desperately need a win.Originally posted by Goat Milkso make a play based on the matchups. the books are not in it to find a side. they don't have any idea who's going to win.
Contrary to popular belief, I don't make every play based on line movement; I've posted a ton of plays in this postseason alone that have gone against the line, and lost pretty much every one (including both yesterday). I'm just pointing out what I see here; doesn't mean I think that's the only way to look at it.Comment -

#83From the Archives ( Good Luck Everyone)
For my Free Play, I'm siding with the Brewers as they look to even the series tonight at Busch. Unlike a large majority of the public, I refuse to fade Randy Wolf here. Yes, the Brewers southpaw has struggled of late, but if there's one indicator of expected success tonight, its the line.
This number is begging for Cardinals money, as the oddsmakers know the public is looking to fade Wolf and offered a price that was just too good to pass up. Not for me though, as Wolf has been outstanding in his L2 starts in St. Louis, going 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA.
On the flip side, there's a lot of love for Kyle Lohse in this spot, especially since he's proven effective with extra rest this season. That being said, he wasn't sharp against Philadelphia in his last one and if oddsmakers are so certain he's not going to show signs of rust, then why do they have him priced so cheaply? Factor in Wolf's struggles and this line is simply too good to be true.
Bottom line, I'm keeping this play small, but rest-assured Randy Wolf will surprise a lot of bettors out there with his effort tonight. Oddsmaker are signaling a tougher than expected matchup for Lohse with this number and I couldn't agree more. Take Milwaukee with Wolf over St. Louis and Lohse Thursday.Comment -

#86I like you're thinkingOriginally posted by neverstoppers23Prince Fielder, and Braun, this is your time to shine, if not now when. Braun had an off game, for game of the playoffs. Hopefully he gets back to roaring today. I have a good feeling about this game for some reason. Just has that feeling that brewers will fight it out.Comment -
