The Bears are a JOKE. Yeah I know I'm a Packers fan, but anybody WHO CAN BE OBJECTIVE and not blinded by myopic fandom can see the Bears offensive line is crap, their defense isn't the same without Harris at safety; (Major Wright is a complete bust at safety), Jay Cutler has some of the worst fundamentals (footwork) of any QB in the league. How has Cutler performed in BIG GAMES on the road the last few years? He'll play the game of his life on the road against one of the hottest teams in the league playing on Monday night for the first time in a thousand years? Yeah right..... I actually feel sorry for Cutler, he has the worst GM in the league in Angelo who gives him no help on offense, trades away his boy in Olsen and hasn't seen enough from Forte to give him a extension.
Good luck to all the people putting their hard earned $$ on Cutler in a big game.

I'm not totally buying in on Detroit quite yet! They were down 27-3 to Dallas....who was without their best receiver (Austin) and Romo gifted them the game. The same Dallas offense that couldn't score a TD against Washington at home. Detroit doesn't run the ball either so its not a safe bet they can hold a lead if they ever get one. Chicago has a better running game and special teams....too hard to call imo!Comment -

Pris was spot on with Chi's D and Special Teams. Sheesh. Those 2 units are amongst the best in the NFL at generating offense. Kicking to Hester is absolutely stupid. Even if they don't kick to him, Bears are getting huge gains in field position whether he touches the ball or not. These are very important things other than "I read some report in the paper that Cutler sucks."
Bears +6 is an automatic play even if they are as bad as the majority of the people in this thread seem to believe.Comment -

Atlanta to beat Green Bay - Lost
Green Bay to beat Bears - Won
Green Bay to beat Steelers - Won
But because the pick about the Falcons winning was more popular they only remember that play and ignore the other 3 winners. So you are wrong about fading GB throughout the playoffs. I was 3-1 with Green Bay in the playoffs last year.Comment -

I took that +3 opening weekend because it was free money, but I didn't touch them +4.5 against the Packers.

The Bears will ALWAYS be undervalued because the Bears have tons of huge plays on defense and special teams, and the public consider these types of plays 'flukes.'
What they don't take into account is that the Bears play a cover 2 shell defense, waiting for big plays on defense, and that they have the best return man in the history of the NFL.
It isn't a fluke when the Bears get a pick 6 or a punt return. It is more of a fluke when they don't get one considering the numbers.

For the record, I'm not hitting the +6 that hard. A small play for me, but it isn't a lock by any imagination.
If the Bears have a good game plan and can run it well early and set up play action, they have just as good of a shot to win as Detroit. If they get down early and have to pass it too much, it'll turn into the Saints game. Lovie's teams have always played well in the division though, so Bears +6 is a good enough play.Comment -
And I know some of you refuse to admit this, but the Bears' D held the Panthers in check in the 2nd half. Only 3 points until a last second TD that was facilitated by the time on the clock and the fact the Bears were up 11 and just played prevent.
The Lions aren't going to be able to run on the Bears D... they'll pile up some yards in the passing game, but if they can force Stafford into 3rd and predictables, there is going to be some big play interceptions possible.Comment -
