You're not taking into consideration what this game means to Atlanta. It's their home opener, the place will be goin crazy and the Falcons are going to play with a lot of intensity. The Eagles weren't sharp by any means today and they've never been a first half of the season team.

I just don't buy the atlanta hype. They are 3-5 the last 2 seasons against legitimate superbowl contender teams (New Orleans, Greenbay, Chicago, Baltimore, Pittsburg, Philly)

yea I do, I realize that's an area of weakness for philly but they should improve as the season goes on. I mean they had the same set of young linebackers last year and they dominated turner (just 45 yards on 15 carries)


I don't think it will matter though, cause Matt Ryan is not gonna match score for score against Mike Vick considering the difference in the quality of secondary between the 2 teams (Philly has the best secondary in the league, Atlanta has a terrible secondary)

But there will be just as many "upsets" next week as there was this week because week 1 didn't tell us a whole lot. If anything week 2 is more difficult to cap because of the inflated lines and misconceptions.

How do you figure lucky? Once PHI got the lead STL had no chance coming back. PHI defense is built to tee off on the QB and let that secondary shut things down. The game went as expected. The S-Jax injury is a complete copout for the STL backers. With or without him, PHI was going to win this by double digits.

I expect this season to be a repeat of the 2007 season with the patriots where the pats covered every spread the first half of the season and then the linemakers started making them 14 point favorites every game and then you were fcked



But I will keep tailing them until the linemakers adjust. This is an awesome awesome team with the best secondary and defensive line in the league to go along with an offense that averaged 32 points per game when Vick started last year

I just think there are much better plays out there. Tennesse looked horrendous today and they will face a really really good baltimore defense next week. I couldn't believe how bad their running game was this week against a team with one of the worst defensive lines in the league



if you want to play an underdog, the bears +7 are a great choice
