The honest truth is, and I really am not trying to be a dick by saying this, you girls are a bit out of place here. You provide some good comic relief so to speak, in that you're somewhat outsiders looking in, but you girls really don't like the same things we do. That doesn't make your opinions any less valid, but at the same time, this is a sports gambling forum.

I get what you're saying, but you're wrong about not liking the same things. I've talked with a lot of guys here that I have a LOT in common with...I just don't gamble. I love sports. I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to sports talk, but I'm also not as sports savvy as many of the men here, so I avoid a lot of that talk because I don't need to give them another reason to call me an idiot if I get a stat wrong or some junk. For every guy that spews hate at us, there's another that actually enjoys talking to us. We don't pollute the strictly sports areas, so what's the problem? Just because we don't have the same exact hobbies, we can't all discuss oil prices, the election, or boobies?

Im not going to judge anyone. I like swede and the rest of the girls ... but yes, in a forum where theres so much egos (like I care) it does reflect the opposite of some others real life. Some get attention online, while in real life they only have a pet dog as a friend. Sucks but its true.

As I stated in a post above, I agree that Swede went toe-to-toe with the individuals you mentioned. And I also agree that if you are going to go toe-to-toe, you have to expect that you are going to take a beatdown from the peanut gallery here at SBR. That's just the way this forum works and that's why I pay very little mind to an insult thrown my way.

No one ever asked. There are plenty of people on here who have screen names that aren't gender-related, and also don't have pictures of themselves as their avatars. Maybe they're all men, maybe not. Maybe they're all women, who knows. It never mattered to me one way or the other.

Now on Match.com, it would be a different story entirely. There, you can't just have some ambiguous screen name and not tell people what your gender is.
