      Good Shit bro...still working my ass off lifting 3 to 4 times a week and doing HIIT every day to try getting rid of the 20 lbs I gained due to 2.5 months of not being able to do jack Shit. I learned that I can't eat healthy if I am not active...too many cravings.

        Adults don't need much protein. It's all a myth.

        Tuna, the albacore kind (the best tasting) is also very high in mercury. If you want to eat sh-t out of a can stick to regular tuna.

        You can get all the protein your body needs, even with moderate weight lifting, with beans and by combining certain vegs. I say "moderate weight lifting" because if you're into heavy "muscle spinning" wt lifting you need a shrink more than you need protein. (Ask Arnold, who inhaled great gobs of protein daily, along with handfuls of steroids, when in his teens and 20s . . . in his 40s he developed a heart prob).

        Eat non-mercury fish (like Northwest or Alaska salmon) and vegatable protein, if you're lifing for fitness. Tuna, steak, etc will not make you stronger. It's a myth. Just ask the plant eating gorillas, the strongest animals in the jungle.

          Salmon, fresh caught, does have some mercury, all fish do nowadays, but not as much as tuna and other species.

          But farm-raised salmon is garbage. Tilapia, tho, is usually raised in fresh water ponds, and not fed sh-t from other sea creatures, so should be OK

            Eating a container full of cold, leftover spaghetti. Ton of carbs but I don't give a god damn rats ass. It's easy and I refuse to cook an Ellios at this hour...

              First of all sir I have to strongly disagree with your posts...although it does contain mercuruy...its not enough to harm you...consider the amount of people that eat tuna comapred to the few cases that actually have problems...also protien is an essestial part of the building blocks of amino acids...your bodys loves it... and also there is nothing wrong with lifting weights...I think your statement " you need a shrink" is absurd.

                when bodybuilders like ronnie coleman, says take creatine,and whey ,you will look like me.people really believe that shit.it makes me want to laugh.your way of eating is better.if you eat tuna,with not salt,turkey,and fish,thats all protein you need.

                  I do take creatine...gives me that extra boost when my ass is draggin sometimes and also helps heal me faster...not that I take it all the time but a couple times a week (use with extreame caution)

                    There's nothing wrong with lifting weights. I've done so on and off (like most people do) for years.

                    Lifting to the point of distorting the body (almost always with the aid of anabolic steroids or other narks or drugs) is freakish.

                    And unhealthy. The spun muscle turns to flab as one ages, no matter how hard one works, (Yes, LaLanne looked good as a seniior, but he worked out lightly - by muscle spinning standards - and I believe was a lifelong vegetarian. Or almost so.)

                    If you're into body buiding, pattern after LaLanne, not Arnold. The Gobernator still works out, but more now for cardio than to win some useless Mr America crown, promoted by hustlers who make big bucks selling the carb, protein and supplement sh-t to the innocent believing bbuilders. Wieder used to be the Biggest Hustler, but I'm sure other scammers have taken his place.

                        Some, yes. But the bodybuilding hustlers have their marks believing you have to consume great gobs of their sh-t to spin huge muscles.

                        Arnold was a huge devotee of that stuff. He knows now it was a mistake - except that the fame the titles gave him got him some minor parts in horror pics and he, being a bright and ambitious guy, parlayed it into a huge movie and polit career.

                        But leave me not discourage you. Go ahead. Do it. Then check back here in ten years. Or have you cardio specialist do it for you.

                          read my earlier post.i did ,for a few year take german creatinthe best on the markey.whey,and casien protein.whey is fast,and casien breaks down slow.i dd help me burn off body fat,and build muscle.i will kiss you ass if you are bigger thn ronnie colemaon,cutler,dexter the blade jackson.there is big,reaine,and whey,and then there is bigger steroids.do you understand that ronnie is lying that creatine made him big.

                              I will start taking creatine in 2 weeks once I am off my lean xtreme/EC stack diet. I have already come to the conclusion I am not gonna be seeing my abs anytime soon so I will try and lift as heavy as my weak ass can for 3 months then try and cut down again.

                                you can take creatine every day,at 5 grams.building real muscle,you take 15 to 20 grams a day for 6 weeks,and stop for a month.

                                  what ive been doing is this:
                                  • set of 8-12
                                  • one minute of cardio just going about as hard as i can for 60 seconds
                                  • 50-60 sit ups
                                  • break
                                  • repeat 10-12 times


                                  ive gotten a lot more tone working out like that. what are your lifting numbers?

                                    I could only understand about half of what you said but what I did pick up was creatine makes you big...Its does NOT! it doesnt even make you stronger...please refer to my post up above for what the main reasons for taking creatine does...

                                        vegatable protein?

                                        As for me, i can see a noticable difference in my own strength when i eat more chicken and protein than when i am without it for a longer period.

                                                    I am having a real problem getting enough protein. I have tried many flavors of whey protein and I hate them all so badly I throw them up. I even tried making smoothies and stuff but it did not help. I eat chicken and turkey but am getting sick of it. I hate all seafood and do not like eggs so that is a problem.

                                                        optimum whey protein (double chocolate) tastes like chocolate milk. Put an instant breakfast package in there and it will be great.

                                                            you ever been really sore after a workout...I know with me when I go hard sometimes the pain is so bad I cant sleep...take some creatine and you will still feel it the next day but not as bad and it wont last as long!

                                                            side note...I know everyone is saying how can you lift so much you cause yourself pain? Well some nights when your "in the zone" you just feel like going hard...you will understant when you get there...

                                                              Personally about the best tasting high protein product I have tasted is Muscle Milk powder and it comes in tons of flavors.

                                                                    yeah, thats a great pain too. I normally only get that now if i change up my routine and find a new exercise. I really dont do that enough, i just wonder into the gym and kinda figure out what im going to do when i get there. i spend Far too much time talking and taking breaks, then i just go back to the same old shit and dont improve at the rate i really should.

                                                                      hmmmm....what do you like that has protein? lean burgers or turkey burgers are never bad and then your steaks and all are fully equipt with creatine which is nice.
