congrats sj and you have every right to this thread. one thing this thread proves is how haters would not like to make money together, but beat each other. you hit 60 % but... stfu. canuckg is just oozing haterade. in all threads i see him in. keeping records for people when they lose? get a life kid. no one gets hated more on sbr than guys who win more often. it is an accomplishment you can be proud of on a site that is full of braggers. many of us have posted plays and patted ourself on the back when they hit so what you are doing is no different. no need to defend your plays or prove yourself. gl and i hope you keep winning. rest of you ******* just shutup please.

#249DIDNT go through all 8 pages of this thread, but I gotta say something:
27 units for a season is impressive for any sport, but a majority of your plays Sj were qtr plays such as "heat -2" when everyone knows it was more like heat -2 -135. When you factor in those heavy juices, no profit was made if someone followed your thread this year. Countless # of times your quarter plays were heavily juiced on the public fave. You may have bet them early, but before you released them (no fault of your own) all lines were adjusted 1/2 point or ten/twenty cents easily for at least 1/2 of your qtr plays if not more. Wish I followed crazymilkman at covers, what a pro. he went 406-307 or something like that on straight plays with -110 full game lines. Hitting 60% at juiced quarter games of -120 to -140 is like hitting 50%. I have no ill will, wish you the best. You do give a lot of time and effort here, one of the rare standup guys, but I have a valid point.Comment -

#250I am not up 27 UNITS. My current total NBA record is 116-78-3 (60%) +37.75 UNITS. I have a 3 UNIT play pending on OKC to win this series and a 1.5 UNIT play on Memphis to win the series. As well as a 2 unit play at +625 for OKC to win the west (which looks decent because they will play Memphis next round most likely). Also have a 1 unit play at +3025 on OKC/CHI Finals Matchup.Originally posted by GGZOLADIDNT go through all 8 pages of this thread, but I gotta say something:

You seem very knowledgable GG but your point is not valid and here is why. My positive UNITS/Win % were a result of my success with NBA Sides this year, not the 1Q plays. I actually didn't even do good on those quarter plays this year. My % and UNITS were negatively affected because of them. So everyone that did not bet these quarter plays because of the increased juice actually made out way better.Scared money don't make money

here's my deal. if you're really up 37 units in the NBA this season...why do you care if anyone believes your record or care what they think? if it were me the cash winnings would be enough..hell if I was up 37 units and betting a dime a game like you claim I doubt I'd even post on SBR. that's the fishy part here, you care so much that others believe your record..
oh and one other thing, I think you were betting numbers that most of your sheep could not get..

Go ask the sheep how their bankrolls are doing in my thread this year, maybe 4 games the entire year won instead of lost because of the line move and none were big plays.Scared money don't make money

#254Since it is not flat 1x on all bets, the precise winning percentage and juice paid are not that important. The import thing is the units won at end, which SJ did a great job.

If people would spend half the time capping their own games as they do following or stalking others they may actually win a couple games. IF the dude is hitting 60%, great. IF the dude is lying, great. Why does anyone give a shit and why does this dude give a shit if anyone believes him? Spend some time learning to cap your own games and win some fukking $$$.Comment -

#273I posted this up before the series started. Who would have thought the #8 seed had a chance to eliminate the #1 seed before the playoffs started?Originally posted by sweetjones55I am starting to smell a possible upset in the Memphis/SA series. The Spurs are limping into the playoffs going 4-6 their last 10 games. And it's not like they weren't trying to win, they wanted the home court against Chicago. The Spurs and Grizzlies played four times this year. They played very recently twice in March, Memphis beat the Spurs by 16 and by 7 points. The first matchup of the season in SA went to OT. The other game in SA the Spurs won by 7. Basically the series was split 2-2 and that OT game could have gone either way as can any OT game so Memphis could have easily gone 3-1 vs SA. Popovich has said countless times that the Spurs go as far as Ginobili takes them. He's not playing. This can get veryyyy interesting.
The matchups are fairly close player to player.
Conley/Parker
Allen/Jefferson
Blair/Gasol
Randolph/Duncan
Memphis bench is Battier, Mayo, Arthur. Spurs got Hill, Neal, Bonner and one of those guys are going to start in place of Manu. I don't see a big edge for the Spurs at all other than the experience factor. The biggest mismatch on the floor is presented by the Grizzlies with Randolph.
Let's get some discussion going on this.
