I dont know how to break it down any better for you its clear you must be a little slow... I've tried to break it down for you Sub grappling for dummies (the dummie being you dont worry you'll catch up just try and follow along) Why dont you do yourself a favor open the phonebook or look online for your local MMA school chances are they have somebody knowledgeable on the ground ask them is they have ever met anybody good on the ground that just isnt good anymore it doesnt happen like that in sub grappling. You probably dont know these guys because you are new to the game but i've seen an older doesnt roll doesnt even workout Ricardo liborio tap everybody at ATT and im talking everybody ADCC champ Jeff Monson Aurelio all those Bjj black belts he lined them up one by one taps all of them in a row. These new guys are in their primes fighting in pride, ufc, etc winning ADCC against world class grapplers how can Liborio who doesnt roll is out of shape do this. Ground skills never leave you your body may get old but that is not the case with shogun. Wallid Ismael or amaury bitetti these guys roll maybe 2 days a week these days they are busy with promoting fights or seminars or whatever they do they come in and roll 20 something black belts into pretzels . everytime. You think you know what you are talking about but you are a know nothing.

#76Now that's funny, but there's a lot of people here that think Rua will win. This person is offering +185 which is fair and can't get any takers. Why will nobody take it?Originally posted by illmatickThat was actually a donation. I have a feeling you're gonna need it.Comment -

#91Originally posted by nyed101095% of this board don't know shit about MMA. This is simply a case of people going with the more familiar name. Anyone that follows MMA and has watched these two fight knows this is Jones' fight to lose. Of course shogun could win, but Jones is just too versatile and will be able to avoid any big punches from shogun, which is what I believe is the only way shogun can win this fight.

#93It is better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.Originally posted by nyed1010
who has shogun fought that is even close to the well-rounded, versatile fighter Jones is? Liddell(striker), Machida(karate), Coleman(wrestler, one of the biggest scrubs in the game which he lost to in there first matchup), Griffin(
the guy specializes in nothing, pretty much average in several areas). Point is, none of these guys is even close to the versatility Jones brings to the table. Jones's reach and unorthodox strikes allows him to stand up with anyone, but what's the point when he can just takedown Shogun whenever he wants. On the ground, he can submit you or throw elbows and put you to sleep.
I agree Jones hasn't fought anyone close to the caliber of fighters Shogun has in their careers, but look what Jones has done to everyone that faced him. He's made everyone look like minced meat. Nobody has even come close, not even a sniff at beating Jones.Comment -
